Identified! FL - Jacksonville, 'Donnell' tattoo WhtFem, Mid-20's, May'20 - Aleksandra Micic

Police said the woman, whose body was found inside an apartment on West 6th Street, is described as a white female in her mid-20s with brown hair and brown eyes. She was 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighed 145 pounds.

Police said she had a tattoo on her left wrist of the name Donnell.

Jacksonville Fire Rescue was in the area of the apartment complex for training Friday when crews spotted smoke coming from the multi-unit building and called it in.

The woman’s body was found inside after the fire was put out.

Left a voice mail and posted on the few FB accounts covering either. The mom of Susan (NL) reached out to me. She told me that Susan had a back tatto of some sort, ankle tattoos, etc. Had no pictures. So with both cases being vague in details, we just have to wait and see. FYI, I contacted the MD police department.

Local news say she's been identified. while police have not yet released the 17-year-old's name, this article says that friends have identified her. Police suspect foul play in her death and are investigating it as a murder.

oof, based on preliminary look at public records based on the girl's name posted in the news, this one is either going to be an associate well-known to the family (Donnel?) or is going to be some sleuthing work - I sure hope it's the former so she and her family get justice more quickly. The victim's family appears to be Croatian, so we're likely to see multiple US spellings for the same names, which could get confusing quickly. Her family's been in Jax for at least 20 years, she graduated from Sandlewood High School on the southside of Jax. In the fall of 2019 she started classes at the local community college to go into their nursing program, based on what I gathered so far.
