Not much info yet, but a major incident. Reportedly 13 stabbed, possibly 3 dead, around 7 pm. In a park, the Forbury Gardens. There had been a BLM protest there earlier in the day, but probably unrelated - it sees to have been several hours later.

Terrorism possibility?

Police helicopter active.

Fears several dead after 'mass stabbing' after BLM protest in UK
''An extremely graphic video on social media shows at least four people covered in blood as they appeared to lay motionless in the grass while witnesses and police officers performed CPR in Forbury Gardens in Reading, Berkshire.

Several people with stab wounds were rushed to the Royal Berkshire Hospital and were being treated in the emergency department.

It is said that a hero police officer saw a man running away with a knife and "rugby tackled him to the ground" as he responded to the incident.''

"We've got a number of patients that are being cared for and treated at the moment, but that is about as much information as I have at the moment.

"All I know is there are a number of patients down there and we are assisting as part of a large response."

A Black Lives Matter (BLM) protest was held at the bandstand in the park earlier on Saturday. It had ended before the incident and no-one from the protest was involved, an organiser said.''

''One witness, who said he was around 10 metres from the scene, said the attack looked 'completely random'.

Lawrence Wort, 20, a personal trainer from Chippenham, said: 'So the park was pretty full, a lot of people sat around drinking with friends when one lone person walked through, suddenly shouted some unintelligible words and went around a large group of around 10, trying to stab them.

'He stabbed three of them, severely in the neck, and under the arms, and then turned and started running towards me, and we turned and started running.

'When he realised that he couldn't catch us, he tried to stab another group sat down, he got one person in the back of the neck and then when he realised everyone was starting to run, he ran out the park.'''

Reading stabbings: Three people stabbed to death in 'terror incident' in park
''Mark White said: "There are images circulating of an armed operation at a block of flats on the edges of this park. We have not had it officially confirmed that that is linked to the man.

"The suggestion from journalists at the scene in Reading is that the arrest which involved armed police at this block of flats in Reading is linked to the incident and is linked to the man who is now in custody."
''A peaceful Black Lives Matter protest took place at the park earlier today. Police say the attack was not connected to the protest.''
