Elvis Presley’s daughter, singer-songwriter Lisa Marie, is outraged to see her dad’s song ‘Viva Las Vegas’ used in a Viagra commercial.

"I find it revolting. Some songs we have no control over and I know we didn't license that one,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

I HATE that commercial! Mr FC HATES that commercial! Everyone I have asked HATES that commercial!

The song is just STUUUPID....the lyrics don't even make sense. And since when do a bunch of men with ED all get together to jam before taking their Viagra and speeding off to their wives? I would THINK that anyone who needed it would want to keep that fact sort of private - NOT be starting a band and writing a SONG about it

What's the name of the band - The Limp Lolly's?

My Opinion

ROFL!!!!!!!!!! Yes, it's a horrendously stupid commercial and no men would ever sing about it, lol. I have to admit, the guys are talented singers, though.

Who ever thought that commercial up is pretty smart because it really grabs attention. I like it because of the music, the nice looking guys, good singing, and how much fun they're having. I don't blame Lisa Marie for being upset since they're using Elvis tunes and changing the words though.

I dislike this commercial and the only thing entertining is the music, not the words tho, I find them very irritating!
On a side note, the problems with teens taking viagra, commercials like this one would just encourage the use more IMO.

VB

Yeah it kind of makes Viagra seem like a 'party drug'. (Oh, how I could expand on that one... LOL!)

I hate the commercial because I love the song and they're just.... abusing it. It's embarrassing.

I do agree with you on the stupidity, but I find that the more I her it, the more I like the way the band sounds.

"Limp Lollies" LOL. Aside from that is it a real band. I really should look it up to see if it's a real group or just a made-up thing for the commercial.

Me too tx! They've all got great smiles too!

Somone got paid to use it that is for sure!

It's my understanding that the son of the late original songwriter (not Elvis) owns the rights.
