So weird, right? I don’t think LISK had one thing to do with Gilbert. That entire evening went sideways very quickly (from everything I’ve read). I do think Burke would do something like call an escort and invite her out with some of his buddies. From the description of this guy, calling and torturing family members sounds like something he’d do-sloppy, risky, but too arrogant to think he’d have to resign from his job down the road. No, LISK is calculating and patient. Definitely has a “type” of girl. That’s why I do believe there is another killer on that beach. One who had zero issues with killing a mother and child.
The more I think about Peaches and her daughter, the more I believe they may have been victims of circumstance. Though I believe she was killed by the same person who killed Jessica Taylor and the other dismembered victims, I'm not fully convinced that Peaches was a sex worker. Maybe her car broke down (if she had one) or perhaps she and her daughter were stranded and accepted a ride from a seemingly kind stranger who was actually a killer.
Peaches is believed to have died in the nineties when people still accepted rides from strangers and/or hitchhiked. Her death predates the internet so men soliciting prostitutes at that time did so through agencies or picking up street girls, and LISK probably did the latter because the former kept records. Maybe he approached Peaches, asked if she was working, she replied that she was stranded/had no way to get home, so LISK offered a ride.
The Bristol, CT tattooer who did Peaches' tattoo said she came to his shop in the early nineties while visiting from NY. Law Enforcement says Jessica Taylor disappeared from the Port Authority in Manhattan in 2003 but her pimp/boyfriend Khalil White said she vanished from Queens Plaza (Long Island City). Additonally, LISK referenced "a whorehouse in Queens" during a phone call to a friend of Maureen Brainard-Barnes after MBB disappeared in 2007.
With the Queens connections/references made in the early days of the case, I wonder if Peaches is from Queens and/or if she too disappeared from a bus/subway hub like Queens Plaza, Jackson Heights (or anywhere along Roosevelt Avenue), or the LIRR and subway hub at Sutphin and Archer in Jamaica Queens. The tattooer described Peaches as a light skinned blacked woman, so she could have been from one of the culturally and racially diverse neighborhoods that comprise Queens.
