i think he asked his wife to pick him up from the location or something, hence she new the general location but not precise location where she was dumped
Ok I think I’ve lost the thread a bit... I’ve missed a lot of the discussion so I’m not sure where this fits in. Off to do a bit of reading.

So I drove to Dover today from Deal and for the first time ever paid attention to where the car rental places where. CMW group and enterprise are nearish to his garage but the closest was europcar which had larger style cars rather than corsas. I didn't get enough chance for a proper look at the cars but it's maybe 5 minutes from the garage. All of them though don't have parking near for his own car (well CMW does out of the 3) so I do question how he got there to pick up the hire car. If his car was in the garage for example I would suspect he used the one in Poulton close as there are garages near by from memory.

The sandwich River can be quite a fast moving river, certainly if something was dumped before his arrest I would doubt it would still be there now but they have closed half the car park including where the bins are. The ropewalk he may have walked down and that's why they closed it...maybe to avoid the car being picked up on cctv. It's been raining heavily here tonight so I'm not sure how far they will get searching tonight

I am no expert but I guess it would depend on what it was? And how much risk to divers. If it was the phone how would they know it was there unless it’s already at surface so why would specialist be needed?

The part that’s cordoned off is stagnant and doesn’t flow. further down, the river is tidal and has a strong current, but not here.

I would think he would have destroyed or burned whatever evidence he could, or tossed them into a body of water. But of course criminals always make mistakes so hopefully some of these items will be found. Even if they never recover the phone they should still be able to recover the data.

I agree. Whilst I think there will be very little physical evidence for the Police to find, I hope the pressure and weight of what he did resulted in errors through panicking and they can obtain strong DNA to link SE and WC.

going back to Sarahs discovery....does anyone know what 'builders bag' could be?

Anyone know if the tunnels the Police were searching is all on land or is there water attached to them ?

I think the items of most importance they would be looking for to tie him conclusively to her MURDER are:

1. The murder weapon (Examination of her body may have revealed a firearm or knife wound injuries)

2. Her phone

I think her clothing is of less evidentiary value and does not clearly tie a murder to him.

Or maybe there was a second perp and some of his stuff was being disposed of. ( Wild guess)

is it known if she was raped? was primary motivation rape? could the murder have been unplanned or accidental?
or was the plan just to murder her to not leave a witness?
cause he did not care about witness in the mcdonald which would certainly end his career.

Google builders bag, but I’m still curious as to whether he already had the building bag on him, if not it suggest SE wasn’t dumped at the leisure centre straight away and instead WC may have had to move the body when the car gathered attention
