C. Oregon Peacekeepers help search for missing Bend man - KTVZ
[...]

Volunteers were searching the Deschutes River Woods area where he lives and in northeast Bend. They said they'd be searching into the night and meet again Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. in the southeast parking lot of the Bend Walmart.

"It seems to have come out of the blue, so all possibilities are still on the table," volunteer Jay Wells said. "We may be looking for someone who doesn't want to be found, and we may be looking for someone who is incapacitated or passed away or suffering from a physical or mental health issue -- really, every possibility is still being considered."

Missing Bend man's car has been found in Northern California - KTVZ
Deschutes County sheriff's Sgt. Jayson Janes said the Siskiyou County Search and Rescue conducted a search over the weekend but did not find Gillespie. More searches are planned.

This article has a link to Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Dept Facebook page. Their post about Patrick missing includes “Missing Bend Man Believed to be in Siskiyou County.”
I’m curious if that’s merely due to his car being found or if there’s other information they’ve acquired that’s led them to this?

Missing man's car found in remote California town

March 31
The car of a man missing for two weeks was found in a tiny Northern California community, and residents are being asked to report any contact with him.

Patrick Gillespie, 47, of Bend, Ore., was last seen on the afternoon of March 11, when he left his workplace before his usual quitting time. His family reported him missing the next day.

Questions that pop up:
What caused Patrick to leave work before quitting time?
Does he have ties in Mt Hebron, CA?
In what condition was his car found?
Was his car found in an area easily visible (meaning it probably hadn’t been there too long before being found) or was it hidden/hard to see?
