I believe Claudia left her home Wednesday evening, by force or choice. If it was Thursday or Friday morning, Claudia did not walk out imo x
Ii it possible that Claudia met her end at home on either Wednesday or Thursday, but the perp didn't remove her body until the early hours of Friday morning. Is there any CCTV available for early Friday morning?

This is a possibility however highly unlikely because her phone was switched off at 12.10pm on the 19th. The clock is ticking at 6am on the 19th when she doesn’t arrive for work.

NYP have access to the Limes CCTV footage so I would have expected the could trace the vehicles down Heworth Road and possibly my to cost cutter?

I would expect they would have an indication of vehicle movements to some degree which were supported by the bus CCTV.

Edit: just to add I think Wednesday evening is more probable due to the phone activity stopping. NYP can again compare activity from other evenings before she had an early start. I would hope this would form some form of routine but made more difficult as she appear to like a drink and to socialise which undoubtedly complicated the whole investigation

I would have thought NYP considered Friday morning also, but I have never seen CCTV mentioned for Friday or it discussed as a possibility. Yes that is odd imo x

Yet the alarm is not raised and Claudia was not due into work on the Friday. No Call to Joan or Alexandria x

Just for clarification, the silver car leaving Heworth around 9pm is the same silver car at Melrose PO?
The question is - why move her body - why not kill her and leave it in situ? A hired killer would do that if it was an organised killing, so it suggests a person close, who has left incriminating evidence on her which would quickly lead to
Their arrest - therefore disposal was the only option. I don’t feel it’s likely an organised event
Unless she left to somewhere else on the afternoon of the 18th - taking her rucksack, or maybe not taking her rucksack and this is what alleywayman picked up at 7.15pm from the rear of her house - maybe had a back door key - (looks skyward) who’d have one of those?

They not only see the cease in activity, also the movement of the handset.

Yes agree her phone turned off on 19th but its possible the perp took her rucksack including its contents on Wednesday or Thursday to throw LE off the scent.

I just see anyone taking her rucksack as highly unlikely - yes I try and keep an open mind but I think if alleywayman took it - it was with her consent as we know she was alive then . If she took it - she must of been alive when she left home - happy and thinking of work. My only other thinking is if she left alive taking her rucksack through the rear of the property alive and well - because she didn’t want to be seen going out the front - for some reason

Perhaps the perp worked at the Uni or maybe the Science Park and had her rucksack in his/her car boot. Could easily turn off her phone if that was the case

I'm not buying this, no possible way to know, from the bus footage, that the silver car was 'leaving' Heworth Road , nor is there any way to know if the same car is at Melrose PO, leaving, arriving or parked up? Or simply caught on camera driving along?
What's the time difference between the bus footage at Heworth and the car at Melrose PO?

The silver car was seen leaving Heworth around 9pm on the buscam. I think @keep-it-real pointed this out

At the beginning of the footage a silver car crosses the crosses the crossroad from left to right which would put it on the Melrosegate road.
