I’m not privy to the answer to that question but it’s something I’ve been curious about every time I read MSM mentioning their decades of separate living arrangements and her live in boyfriend. They are not divorced but I think her inheritance gets smaller everyday due to lawyers fees.

A man charged with murder in the death of Kristin Smart, a California college student who vanished walking home from a party in 1996, was investigated in the alleged rape of a woman in Southern California a decade after Smart's disappearance.

Paul R. Flores, now 44, became the subject of the investigation in 2012 when his DNA profile matched a profile collected from the woman, who was given a forensic examination at a hospital the morning after the alleged January 2007 assault, according to a report from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
