I still don’t buy that he traveled on the creek, at least for long. It’s very rural and would make for a difficult get away. Also cold (it was unseasonably warm that day) and I’m not sure that it would all even be navigable. However — as a local, 25 going right by Delphi is absolutely the route one would take between Lafayette and the north end of Kokomo or Peru.

Going strictly from memory, but there were reports at the time of the Delphi murders that police were searching an area just above the location (up hill) from where the bodies were found. It is an area with easy access for a vehicle to be hidden in the trees.

His mom was born Aug 1962 and JBC was born Mar 1979. So his mom was 16 when he was born. She married (not to his father) when she was 17 and the baby JBC was 7 months old. JBC was named after her husband, not his bio father.

Thanks for that info. I was finding it strange that his father would sue him for eviction. That makes more sense then.

As far as I know, so far he has only been arrested for his crime against a child in Lafayette.
