Given his social and family circle- where is this perv going to find a place to stay without minor children in it? I see him not making bail.
What disturbs me the most, is if DHS had this evidence since November, 2019, and just let it "slide" until now? WTH?!

He has been with children in his home every single day since then...but now that he is formally "charged" it is an issue?!

That is messed up. Just saying .
Respectfully it says that he accessed the *advertiser censored* in 2019 NOT that it was know to LE at that time.

Ugh. I really thought it was going to be something like money laundering but no, a leopard doesn't change his spots. I want to scream as I recall mommy and daddy Duggar sending Josh off to a Christian rehab years ago for his "*advertiser censored* addiction." Little did we know... nah, we knew; it was just a matter of time.

Did his parents know his *advertiser censored* preferences was depictions of sexual abuse of minors? Does Anna know? Will she stand by him once again? Is he the only Duggar with a broken moral compass?

I can only hope he hasn't targeted his oldest daughter, given his predilection for abusing family members.

Let's hope Josh is the only one.
It might not be a bad idea to let social workers talk to more of the kids, though.

I thought there was a 911 call to the parent's home a few years ago ?
And when CPS showed up they weren't allowed inside ?

This was in the Daily Mail so take it with the proverbial grain.
911 call outside Duggar home after they 'refuse to allow social worker in home' | Daily Mail Online
It came just days after Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar first spoke publicly about their son Josh's molestation of minors as a teenager. But until this news broke, they maintained there were 'no more secrets'.

In 2019, there was a big thing with the feds at the used car business in which Josh works. It was big news and nobody ultimately found out what was going on. Now it's seeming like he was downloading child sex abuse materials at the car lot in 2019 and had some level of interaction with the feds for that but was not imprisoned.

Hopefully, this time she will have to choose between her husband and her children. She can stay with him if she likes, IMHO. But she should not have access to her children if she does, in the same way he won't have access to them when he bonds out.

What scares me most is if his wife and father/mother/siblings knew that he had child *advertiser censored* on that computer and continued to let him be in the family. She is recently pregnant and the raid was in 2019 so...........if she or they knew about the files then it is a major indictment of her character and/or the adults in his family's character.

I know the idea that anyone knew may not be correct but how did his father know that he was about to be arrested....someone knew something. Time for Jim Bob and all to come clean.

Well that's chilling !
If it's still online -- there was a snippet from an interview with some of Josh's sisters on Fox News where the sisters backtracked from the accusations against their brother.
I felt is was distasteful to make the sisters defend their brother.
Where was JimBob, the head of the family ?

Sometimes investigations do take a long period of time, and sometimes crimes are not uncovered for long periods of time. What is most important, is that they have the necessary evidence to prove the case in a court of law.

Yes. He confessed to Jim Bob and Michelle, they had him go to a church specialist and confess to molesting his sisters in front of the church. Then they sent him to some religious rehabilitation camp where they shaved his head (the shaved head can be seen in some pre-19 Kids & Counting TV specials). Ultimately Jim Bob called the police and they filed a report about Josh, but nothing came of it. I think part of it was Josh's age at the time which was 15/16.

I think I know why nothing came of it.

I am sure that was it re: the 2019 car lot event, but I am still uneasy about the fact that he was allowed back home to impregnate his wife and spend time around (and possibly victimize) his very young daughters.

Yes, I wonder if Josh tried to use a business internet thinking it wouldn't be tracked to him ?
What if he says it was some other employee, and not him ?
Scary.
I'm sure the feds can ascertain that, and they have the right perp.

The call to the parent's home was I think in 2015.
Just awful to think this may have been happening for some time.
Imo.

He is exactly the type of dimwit who would do what you described imo. He is an idiot and has never had to face any real consequences for his disgusting actions, so I wouldn't be surprised if he thought he could just blame it on someone else at the lot.

This is a massive pattern of behavior with him that I am sure never stopped. I truly hope they investigate him DEEPLY and charge with to the fullest extent.

I agree, I'd be extremely uneasy allowing him to be unsupervised around any children, given his long history. And, I can't help but make assumptions about people who would allow him any unsupervised contact with any child.

Some males who sexually abuse minor children are opportunistic predators as opposed to clinically diagnosed pedophiles. I had previously thought Josh fit the first category, mainly because of his participation in the Ashley Madison site and cheating on his wife.

Boy was I wrong. Josh Duggar is IMO a true pedophile who (allegedly for now) downloaded depictions of sexual abuse of minors under the age of 12. So it's pretty clear that his strongest interests are prepubescent children.

As far as I understand, the only sure way to prevent pedophiles from continued victimization of children is to put them in prison.

The bolded is disappointing in this statement (to me). This won't and shouldn't be resolved in a timely manner. Only they can explain what they meant here, but this gives me the impression they don't believe the charges or are hoping Josh is out soon and back home. IMO

“We appreciate your continued prayers for our family at this time. The accusations brought against Joshua today are very serious. It is our prayer that the truth, no matter what it is, will come to light, and that this will all be resolved in a timely manner. We love Josh and Anna and continue to pray for their family.”

It should not take very long at all to get an IP address of a device used to download child *advertiser censored*. There is more to this story. IMO

It definitely reads as if they assume he's not guilty and the "truth" will exonerate him. His stupid facial expression in his mug shot most certainly doesn't reflect an innocent man. For the men here reading, if you were arrested and innocent, would that be the expression on your face for the mug shot?

At least one Duggar appears to have a solid head on her shoulders.

Jinger Duggar and Husband Jeremy Vuolo Address Her Brother Josh's Child *advertiser censored* Charges: 'We Are Disturbed'
In a joint statement shared to their respective Instagram accounts on Friday, Jinger, 27, and her husband Jeremy Vuolo both said that they are "disturbed" after the charges were brought against Josh.

"We are disturbed to hear of the charges against Josh. While this case must go through the legal system, we want to make it clear that we absolutely condemn any form of child abuse and fully support the authorities and judicial process in their pursuit of justice," the Counting On stars' posts read.
