Elizabeth Holmes granted trial delay due to pregnancy

....Holmes, 37, is pregnant and due to deliver in July, and on Wednesday her defense attorneys were granted a seven-week postponement to her trial.

Holmes attended a Zoom meeting Wednesday with her lawyers, Judge Edward Davila and Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Leach. CNBC reported that Leach ruled in the defenses favor, moving the trial from July 13 to Aug. 31.

She has a motions hearing on 5/4 & 5/5 & trial starts 8/31. I would think there will be hearings between May & August.

Trial was set to begin on 3/9/21 with jury selection continued due to COVID to 7/13/21 & continued due to Holmes’ pregnancy with jury selection beginning on 8/31/21.

2/10/21 Update: Holmes: Next Motion in Limine hearing on 3/23/21. 3/2/21 Update: Counsel for Defendant advised the government that Defendant is pregnant, with an expected due date in July 2021, prosecutors & attorneys for Holmes write. Both parties agree that, in light of this development, it is not feasible to begin the trial on July 13, 2021. 2/9/21 Update: Balwani: During a hearing on Zoom, U.S. District Judge Edward Davila agreed to delay Balwani's trial to 2022, with jury selection beginning Jan. 11. He added that the January trial date is "really the most realistic," given the challenges posed by the pandemic & the likelihood that Holmes' trial & post-trial motions could run through November. Next status conference hearing on 3/25/21 @ 10am.

Elizabeth Holmes’ jet-setting, lavish lifestyle as CEO of Theranos took center stage on Thursday as her attorneys argued it was irrelevant to her criminal fraud case.

“What she wore, where she stayed, how she flew and what she ate has nothing to do with this trial,” said Holmes’ attorney Kevin Downey, adding that its “inflammatory commentary that could do great damage.”

But the government strongly disagreed, saying Holmes’ opulent way of living was bolstered by the alleged fraud.

That article says the Judge ruled on 20 motions - anyone know "where" I can find those rulings? Only listed 2 of them.
