...and there is NO WAY she would wash her daughter's sheets with her landscaper husband's dirty work clothes. My husband's dirty work clothes were their own load- always. He had to have washed that stuff together like that.

Well, I see it a bit differently, in that, I feel the bed linens were already in the clothes dryer. Hence, Barry washed his clothes. Then, he tossed them into the clothes dryer that already had dried bed linens inside. He hit the tumble dry button. His clothing became mixed with bed linens.

When the clothing was removed from the dryer, all that remained was the sheath covering of the dart. Unless they actually found the syringe cap in the dryer which, for me, is as alarming as finding a sheath covering of the syringe.

I am praying they found her. I read the very short article and the FBI is "recovering evidence", They can't release info that will "compromise the investigation" and apparently there is no threat to the public :) I hate to sound crazy but I just know it's Suzanne or about her.

MOO
Wouldn’t it be great if BM struck a deal after his reported defeated demeanor on Tuesday, when the Judge announced he would have to go back to confinement until 9/17? From the different observations of those that were in the courtroom, it seems BM was gutted not being able to be released as he anticipated. I’d like to think the thought of going back to his cage may have made him break and he gave up SM’s location.

I’ll have to go back and read the article to see when this FBI evidence search took place. This development is one to keep an eye on.

EBM: To add link to article being referenced as I didn’t know how to grab/quote the original poster that posted this article. @Gardenista

MOO IMO

I had posted the following thoughts before and received no feedback so I’m attempting again. Would appreciate some insight. TIA.

1) If during their investigation, LE found BM was linked to crimes in other States, would that information be disclosed in the currently sealed AA during this case?
OR
2) Would the discovery be treated seperately with its own set of charges?
@gitana1 ?
I have no idea. I also don't know if the LE in this case has investigated any connections. I hope they have or will now.
OT: I have to wonder if any of BM's friends or co-workers have given a sample of their dna.
That partial dna evidence seems to be of significance to some, even though we know that means someone related to a SO's dna was detected. There's so much that wasn't covered that the defense threw out there.
Was it touch dna? Was it fluids? Does it matter at all?
I hope an attorney will chime in. :)

It was in the time line….

The phone pinged far from the house because the tower is not at the house. And it is the tower that the phone pings on.

But I don't think you will find another tower between that tower and the house. So Suzanne's phone could have been at home or anywhere within a certain circumference around the tower.
We just don't know.

LE probably have a better idea, if they were able to triangulate the ping. They might even know which side of the tower the ping was on, which could indicate a direction. And they might be able to gauge a distance that the phone was from the tower, by the strength of the ping.

I believe they only gave the info that has been stated to show that Suzanne's phone stopped pinging at a specific time.

For two seconds, I thought BM confessed and gave up her location.

IIRC, didn't he almost confess? This came out in one of the PM tweets.

I'll see if I can find it.

JMVHO.

Thank you. Is that time line quoting LE?
I believe so, it was everything that just came out from the hearing. On the first page under timeline it’s toward the last pages 27/28 maybe.

Well stink if that’s the case they could have worded it differently. Either way it’s bad for BM.

I believe it was stated by LE that the last ping happened on a Poncha Springs tower, not "far away" or "far from the house". Although the tower is far from the house, it appears to be the closest tower to the house.

Yes, either way it is not good for BM that Suzanne's phone stopped pinging when it did.

I’m not worried about the DNA evidence brought up in the PH. Someone asked why would the State put a witness on the stand if they knew he hadn’t read the entire AA. They didn’t.. CBI Investigator Cahill was a Defense witness.
And when the State tried to question him to clear some things up about what steps were done with the DNA, the Defense objected, saying he is not an expert.

Back on the record: CBI Agent Joseph Cahill is back on the stand for the #BarryMorphew hearing. The is asking him about allele which is a variant form of a gene. The defense objects saying he isn't a specialist in DNA or forensic scientist.

The State has an expert that has written a report that will be explained at Trial.

According to the forensic scientist report, there was an unknown male DNA on the seat of #SuzanneMorphew bike. Eytan asked if Agent Cahill LE knew if there were individuals that had matches to the DNA if he would have a swab sample done. He said yes.

This is a good article about DNA and alleles Scroll to the bottom for pics of alphabet soup and explanation of how 3 names can be spelled with the same letters. Simple analogy but effective to understanding.

DNA Mixtures: A Forensic Science Explainer

Alleles are said to match when their peaks fall at the same left-to-right position on the chart. When comparing profiles from unrelated people, it wouldn’t be unusual to find that they have a few matching alleles, just as it wouldn’t be unusual to match one or two numbers in a lottery. But it would be incredibly unlikely for all the alleles to match.

This illustrates an important point about DNA mixtures: Just because a person’s alleles appear in a mixture does not mean that person contributed to it. The alleles may have come from some combination of other people who, between them, have all the allele types in the suspect’s profile.
Because of these uncertainties, it can be difficult to know whether a suspect might have contributed to a mixture. Instead of a simple yes or no, the answer is often expressed in terms of probabilities.

IDK I can't make it fit with the GPS and Phone timeline
It fits, as it’s within the window of time Barry had to work with. The drive from Salida to that location is about 2.5 hours, and he had between 5 and 6.

May 9th 10:17 to May 10th 4:30 am #BarryMorphew phone was in airplane mode. Prosecution asks Agent Grusing if that's enough time to dispose of a body-- Grusing says "it is." @KKTV11News #SuzanneMorphew

Also, the FBI is conducting this evidence recovery, and the timing itself is incredibly interesting.

Bodies are discovered all the time (we don’t know if they’ve found a body of course), and we’ve had some false alarms in the past. Most of those were fairly easy to discount, but this one has definitely piqued my curiosity.

Massguy’s getting excited!!!

Chaffee and Clear Creek Counties are only about 125 miles apart -- great hwy access to some steep and dangerous terrain.

Thanks!! Was thinking (without checking) that his truck had some movement near the home before sometime before 4am.

Please, let it be Suzanne!

BM passed Buena Vista at 5:37am
He arrived at Broomfield RTD loop at 8:10am.

2:33 minutes documented travel points.

But
2:24 minutes of travel time per Google Maps.

7 minutes difference.

MOO Probably could be at least 15-20 minutes difference with judicious speeding and no traffic.

Just thinking about the Partial DNA on the glove box of Suzanne's RR. This one should be looked at closer. I'll bet you ADTAD (a dollar to a donut) that the exact same SODDI Partial DNA found on the glove box will also be found on the owners service manual and service history paperwork inside the glove box.... to this day. When the vehicle was serviced, those articles were needed by the service tech. Happens every day. You can't get to them without opening the glove box.
Documenting that match should pretty much put SODDI in the clear. JMO.
