I don’t believe LE are not taking this seriously at all, in fact, I believe the opposite.

If you are familiar with the Mollie Tibbet’s case and trial, the Defence Team tried to link Mollie’s murder to Xavior’s disappearance just before sentencing. The Defence asked for access to information re Xavior’s case.

The Prosecutors fought the request citing an ongoing and active investigation and refused to put the investigation in jeopardy. The Judge ruled in favour of the Prosecution.

Just because LE doesn’t tell us anything in no way indicates that an investigation is not ongoing or a disappearance not taken seriously.

IMO Xavior didn’t run away nor did he suffer an accident. Something sinister occurred and is most likely being treated as foul play by LE.

The family friend, SR, gave a YT interview on June 30, after the benefit concert for Xavior. She had some interesting things to say. I haven't done a lot of searching beyond that but I haven't come across any other interviews after that one. IMO, LE shut her down after she was called in as a witness in the Rivera trial.

MONTEZUMA, Iowa —

There may be new developments in the search for 11-year-old Xavior Harrelson.

Search crews are in an area of the Fox Forest County Recreation Area just outside of Montezuma in rural Poweshiek County.

KCCI Senior Reporter Todd Magel reports a large law enforcement presence in Fox Forest just south of Diamond Lake and Lake Ponderosa.

Fox Forest is a vast county park that stretches several miles to the south. A crew using search dogs come in and out of a trail area of Fox Forest.

The Poweshiek County sheriff is at the scene but deferred all questions to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.


Harrelson was reported missing on May 27. He was last seen riding his bike in Montezuma, where he and his mother live.

He was reported missing just days before his eleventh birthday. His mother said she has no idea where Xavior could be after he vanished from their Montezuma home.

Iowans helped in a search effort in the early days of his disappearance. Community members and businesses contributed to a reward fund in hopes that it would help bring answers.

Investigators said Xavior, who was reported missing from Montezuma back on May 27, was not located and remains missing. A source said that the search was winding down Thursday afternoon and there are no plans to return to the area.

Sorry if this is repeated info, Stage Coach Bike trail starts near the court and goes to Diamond Lake. From the entrance to the court to the campground is a 17 min walk on the bike trail per Google maps. The trail does continue on to Hwy 63 in once direction. I am not sure if that is the junk yard area mentioned in the transcript.
