Now I'm afraid Barry is going to plead to like Murder 3 and do 10 years in prison. This whole thing was not great for the prosecution, no matter how the Judge tried to finesse it with his personal opinion.

You essentially only need one juror to agree with the Judge's expressed personal opinion (not enough evidence for Murder 1) and he walks free. Does the state want to take that chance? Ughhh

Iris says 10 million dollar bond is no bond. She says the court needs to set a bond that will assure he will come to court. She says she wants a 50,000 cash bond.

Iris asks the court to take #BarryMorphew passport- they will hand that over. She says they have no problem about protection orders, but the court needs to make a reasonable bond.

Judge says part of his order is that #BarryMorphew resides in Chaffee County. Defense says his plan was to reside in Gunnison. Iris says she will give court the address in Gunnison where he will live near his daughters. She says he will follow all orders and not leave.

#BarryMorphew must surrender his passport. He can't reside outside of Chaffee County. It is this court that has to monitor him. #MalloryMorphew just left the courtroom with a private investigator. "I want you here in Chaffee County that I know that you are close by."
