Was it mentioned what the wifi status was for the area where she was found? Someone in a previous thread was very descriptive about the area that she was found. Is there anything else there? Sights to be seen? It doesn't look remarkably scenic. Is this a place they would have set up their tent? Was the distance she was found too far to have gone to use the bathroom if she wanted privacy? Is it possible that he did leave alone for a day or two? Maybe 27-28? When he was picked up his pack was empty but it could have been full when he started out. All speculation and questions which help me make logical deductions.

Apologies in advance if this has been asked/answered. Did FBI take over the Florida (NP) investigation after the discovery of the body in WY or before? I hate to fault LE but the video of the FBI today just looks faster, more efficient, etc. They look prepared, covered all exits, got trespassers off the property. They seem to be moving methodically. Is this due to them having more leeway now that a body has been found and it’s federal jurisdiction?

I only ask as it was such a weird thing for her to accuse him of doing in the recorded police video. Who thinks their loved one would abandon them in the middle of nowhere, unless it was threatened prior.

Don't think this is what happened, but might explain his behaviour of returning home and not fleeing straightaway to Mexico. As thought she was still alive and then realised what he did. Also I wonder where her phone is. Was it in the van?

How could she die of the elements in that spot? It never got below freezing, it was not hot, there was water nearby (at the creek) and tons of people in the dispersed camping. The access road near her body is only a few feet away, all she had to do was follow it to the main road into the campground - and people would have been within a mile (and cars going by occasionally).

What I want to know is if he ever returned home. It's possible that someone flew to Jackson and drove the van back and Brian never re-entered FL. I am guessing that's one thing LE (especially FBI) wish to know from the search at the home. They better find some of the clothes we see Brian wearing on the trip.

I also wonder if Gabby's things remained in the van or someone tossed them. Are Brian's beloved succulents now in his room at home?

The most likely scenario is that he did drive home (hardly stopping) or the family is obscuring the timeline in a major way. If they're doing that, I do wonder how long he was at the house - to my knowledge, no one has seen him in FL.

AUG 12: The couple was at the organic store (Moonflower) from 9am to 3pm according to the police video - they were going to get water and showers - police report incident is at 4pm and the video is over an hour long of this incident. BL is taken to a hotel -Where does Gabby go for the night?

AUG __: The couple took a hike at Arches National Park - Believe the hike was august 9 and posted on aug 12
AUG 12 Moab, UT PD police incident report - no criminal charges,respond to an incident involving BL and Gabrielle Petito
AUG 12 Arches National Park - reservation only campsite (per PE) - Is this where Gabby stayed in her van/tent?

AUG 25: Petito’s family spoke to her for the last time over the phone and she said she was in Grand Teton National Park

AUG 25 - Couple spots van at 5pm at Jenny Lake - alerts LE 9/17 they saw it

AUG 27 - Gabby's uncle posts there was a snapchat Gabby sent a friend -heading to Yellowstone (in Dailymail article)
AUG 27-a Van is seen in the side of the road and youtubers post it - MSM picks up the story - could be Gabbys
In the video the lady says it was recorded Aug 27, 2021 at between 6:00 to 6:30 PM.
AUG 27 & 30: text messages from Gabby’s phone sent to mom
After August 30th, Gabby’s parents weren’t able to get in contact with Gabby or her fiance. Her fiance’s mother also was not responding to any phone calls.
AUG 29- BL is picked up at 5:30pm while hiking alone in Grand Teton (tiktok reported in MSM)
B alleged that Laundrie had confessed to camping at an unregulated site in the National Park "in the middle of nowhere along Snake River." Note - this is not confirmed

SEP 10:: Gabby’s mother texted BL and his mother, RL, trying to get in touch with Gabby, but neither replied. The family alerted the National Park Service.

Sept 10- Gabbys Dad contacts local LE about his daughter missing.

SEP 11: Gabby’s family report her missing 7 PM
Sep 11: Van seized at the home of BL parents in NorthPort FL - FBI

Has it been confirmed that he police actually SAW BL when they went to speak the family the first time (when the family only gave them lawyer info)? Cause he could have been long gone before Gabby was even reported missing if police didn't actually see him. (sorry if this is a repeat question, these threads are flying!)
 
Besides knowing that BL returned to Florida to move things in/out of storage, do we know anything else about what he did during that time in Florida? Was the trip pre-planned or was it a random trip that he took for a specific reason? It happened right after the police incident on 8/12 where they had been fighting and right before GP's last sighting so it seems really important to trying to figure out what happened.

If that camper/occupants were there for any length of time, it could/would be possible they heard/saw something. Perhaps LE is already on that. If Gabby was murdered near where her van was parked, maybe their voices were heard. In a vast open place, sound can carry far.

Apologize if this has been answered but do we know the approximate distance between the van location in this video and the location of the unfortunate discovery of the body yesterday?
 
I feel sorry for the LEO’s who stopped them when they were arguing. Towards the end, two of them were discussing what to do and one said to the other something along the lines of “it’s your call, I will support you in whatever you decide”. They decided to put him in a hotel and leave her with the van, to separate them for the night instead of putting her in jail. During the journey in the LEO’s car to the hotel, I think he would have thought that BL seemed very plausible, sensible even. Imagine how they feel now, I feel sorry for them and think they handled the situation well. Can someone confirm, where the white van is parked at the side of the road (spotted on camera and reported by the people who were passing it), how far is that from where G’s body was found?
