The tabloids saying she was beaten to death with the two foot implement doesn’t seem trustworthy to me. If that was true then blunt force trauma would be obvious from the outset as a cause of death. I don’t trust what the tabloids are saying about this because it’s a pretty big detail to be leaving out of official press releases. If it’s true, my heart aches even more for Sabina, what a horrible way to die.

It's in all the reports of the Old Bailey preliminary hearing and was stated by the QC for the prosecution. They also say that the exact cause of death hasn't been determined.

Just a thought on the car. Could it potentially be that he purchased it with his ex girlfriend and they maybe shared the vehicle? She might be the actual registered keeper. That could explain the 'he had access to' statement about the car.
 

The school of murdered teacher Sabina Nessa is raising money to create an edible garden in her memory.

Rushey Green Primary School plans to create a safe outdoor space for students and the community to learn about nature, growing produce and cooking food.

The school has outdoor space but needs to raise funds for gardening equipment, fruit trees and educational resources.

Headteacher Lisa Williams said: “When Luke and Rab, our school chefs, started growing a few herbs and vegetables, Sabina was the first teacher to take her class to have a look.

“At forest school, Sabina was always so involved.

“Without fail, Sabina ate with her class every day and she didn’t sit there quietly, she would be involved, taking them to the serving hatch, always encouraging them to talk to the chefs.

“Creating a safe outdoor space where children can learn and thrive seems the perfect way to do something positive for Sabina.

“If anyone is able to donate, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

As the plea hearing for British South Asian teacher Sabina Nessa’s murderer approaches in the next few weeks, it is important that we reflect on what happened, and, what in fact is not happening. Sabina was a 28-year-old British Bangladeshi — in September she was attacked and killed steps away from her home. Our reaction to her death has been abhorrent — we, as a society, owe her family, the Bangladeshi community and women across the UK more, especially before we demand the same from the UK government; echoed by Sabina’s distraught sister.

AN EX-DOMINO'S worker accused of murdering primary school teacher Sabina Nessa is set to appear in court today.

Koci Selamaj, 36, allegedly travelled to London from his home in East Sussex to carry out a pre-meditated and predatory attack.

It is claimed he struck Sabina, 28, as she walked through Cator Park in Kidbrooke, South East, London, on her way to meet a friend on September 17.

Her body was found nearly 24 hours later covered with grass near a community centre in the park.

It is believed that Sabina's attacker was a complete stranger to her.

Selamaj, from Eastbourne, East Sussex, was arrested in the seaside town and charged with her murder.

An Albanian man has accepted responsibility for the death of schoolteacher Sabina Nessa but pleaded not guilty to murder.

Miss Nessa, 28, was attacked metres from her home as she walked across Cator Park in Kidbrooke, south east London, to go on a date in a nearby bar on September 17.

Her body was found the following morning by a dog walker and a widespread manhunt was launched by the Metropolitan Police to find her killer.

Albanian national Koci Selamaj, 36, from Eastbourne, Sussex, appeared at the Old Bailey on Thursday morning where his lawyer said he accepted responsibility for Miss Nessa’s death, but Selamaj pleaded not guilty to murder.

He was remanded in custody and a trial date was scheduled for June 7 next year.
