Police released this statement to WISN:

“City government is very engaged in the search for Major Harris, and that includes the police department, the health department’s Office of Violence Prevention, and even the department of public works. We understand the feelings of frustration and anguish of those close to Major, and we are working steadfastly to find him.”

Mallery became involved in a life she never shared with our family. She was much too private. She was an honest person with too much trust we have found out. As we have been searching through her belonging’s we came across her high school senior project. How ironic that the topic she chose to present was Domestic Violence Awareness. Mallery faced her death in the hands of domestic violence in October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

What a beautifully written statement. It's heartbreaking that they've lost their daughter to such violence.
I know at this point it may be unlikely but I hope and pray that Major is found safe and reunited with his family.

They say they've made "several arrests" but do not name anyone. Isn't this odd -- don't they usually say WHO they arrested?

MPD typically does not name those arrested until they are charged. Just because they arrest someone does not mean they will be charged with a crime. IMO they are also waiting to name those arrested until there is more information on what they were arrested FOR and how it connects to the rest of the case.

i'll prolly be on the road home when this comes on. right now local stations are "breaking" with a police shooting in Kenosha County.

Breaking: Major Harris has been found dead near 35th and Rohr. The 3-year-old went missing a week ago, after his mother was murdered. Investigation is ongoing.

Ugh.

Missing 3-Year-Old Major Harris' Body Found In Milwaukee
The search for Harris led police to the Sherman Park neighborhood Thursday based on information they got from two men currently in custody in connection with the homicide of Harris' mother, Mallery Muenzenberger.

Milwaukee police arrested six people in total, Milwaukee Police Sergeant Efrain Cornejo said at the briefing, but only the two men were in custody. The two men haven't been charged with any crimes yet and are only connected to Muenzenberger.
