GUILTY IN - Kegan Anthony Kline, 27, arrested Aug 29, 2020, 30 Counts associated with CSAM

This thread is for Kegan Kline’s current case as it progresses through the justice system and is separate from the Delphi thread.

The charges stem from a search of his Peru, Indiana, home on Feb. 25, 2017, just 11 days after the bodies of Liberty German and Abigail Williams were discovered. The FBI, Indiana State Police and Peru Police Department took part in serving the search warrant, and the investigation was focused on Kline allegedly soliciting underage girls.

According to a probable cause affidavit out of Miami County, obtained by 13News, Kline created the anthony_shots account approximately six months prior to when investigators interviewed him in February of 2017. He allegedly said he created the account to contact both girls he knew and girls he did not. Court documents show Kline saying he would talk to girls, even if they were under the age of 16, and that he found them on Instagram and then told them to message him on Snapchat.

The page says it has 11 posts, 77 followers and was following 343.

That's why I asked if LE knew for sure who created it.

According to NBC, it’s in the Probable Cause Affidavit but I can’t find the link to it at the moment.

Answer - probably not much if it refers to the date of offence? Or is it the date the charges were filed? Anybody know?

The dates prior to Feb 14, 2017 were probably dates his device logs indicated he downloaded unlawful images of children, etc.,

Does this mean he displayed it or showed it to someone but did not transfer it? If I understand it correctly b2 means exhibit. (Just speculating here)

Thinking… for example: telling someone this is the type of content I can get for you and shows the individual on his phone or device.

I saw that as well. He was still at it three years after he was caught. It just goes to show how sick CP’s are. I’d like to know why he wasn’t locked up until 2020. SMH

The 2/17/2017 exploitation aggravating factors are (c)(1) and possession of CP (e)(1).

Unless the child was under 12, that means the 2/17/17 charges depicts something in A-E. This is distressing to me considering the timing, 4 days after the Delphi murders.
