New witness - iO Tillett Wright

We now here a recorded deposition from Amber Heard's friend iO Tillett Wright. He is first being questioned by Johnny Depp's lawyer.

Mr Tillett Wright says he met Amber Heard at a mutual friend's house at the end of 2011 in Los Angeles, when he says he was a photographer and journalist for The New York Times. He says he photographed her for a project, and later he says Heard texted him, they went for lunch "and became friends".

He says he is now a writer and producer, but that he has also made a television show, made a podcast and written three books.

He says he lived in one of Depp's properties in 2013 / 2014, after he had moved to LA.

He says during that time he and his former girlfriend "became very close" with Heard and Depp. However, he says after "this nightmare" he is no longer friends with Depp. He confirms he has not been friends with Depp since December 2015.

Heard: 'I have trouble breathing'

Amber Heard is now being re-questioned by her own lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft.

Heard is being shown a document she says is from her ear, nose and throat doctor, which we are told was part of the information she supplied to Depp's team in preparation for the court case.

Heard says she saw an ear, nose and throat specialist in 2016/2017, and says she has "a significant amount of trouble breathing at night". She tells the court: "I have been putting off getting surgery for it."

We move on to discuss Heard's former private nurse Erin Falati (formerly Boerum) and whether she reported injuries she had allegedly suffered at the hands of Depp in December 2015. Heard says yes she did, and says she sought guidance at the time as she believed she had concussion. Hears says she also saw another doctor, Lauren Anderson, "two days after the attack", and third doctor a day after that.

It could be one of the long-term side effects of snorting cocaine... An X-ray would help to either find or rule out a broken nose.

Depp was 'lovely, and magical and very funny'

Amber Heard's friend, iO Tillett Wright, is asked if he has ever personally seen Johnny Depp attack or assault Amber Heard. He says he has not.

We are then referred to a passage in Mr Tillett Wright's written statement in which he says Depp, when sober, was a good person. He is asked to elaborate, and says: "Johnny, when sober, was lovely, and magical and very funny... incredibly lucid and imaginative and I felt a kindred connection with him and a shared perspective on the world that I've shared with very few people in my life".

He says the actor understood "how much influence he had on people" and "was very kind to them about it". He also says: "He made time for people's nervousness around him, which I noticed on a number of occasions."

He also says there was "a constant rotation" of people who Depp would "generously" let stay in his LA penthouse apartments when they needed somewhere to stay.

I hope they bring up the staged cocaine table photo again. I sent JD's entire team the photos of the back of AH's license blown up, and the other two with both their signatures yesterday.

OMG I was just telling my girlfriend this very same thing!!! AND CV should do it on recross ALL while bringing up that exhibit with AH's license on the cocaine table!!!

I wonder if she's had cosmetic work done on her nose. If so, she may have scar tissue from surgery. Some people are just born with deviated septums, if that's what she is alleging. And of course, trauma.
