Not only that, if you look at the split screen of WH's testimony where you can see EB and also JD at the same time you see WH, you can see that EB is nodding and shaking her head as if guiding WH through the staircase story. Just watch EB on this video. Then, when WH says JD pulled AH's hair, look at JD. You can tell this is all lies. I saw a behavioral therapist who noticed this going on and said EB ticking off the "facts" she wanted WH to say as WH was saying them.

Yes,you could see JD was really not expecting Whitney to lie like that,he looked genuinely shocked.

Thank you so much for putting this down. It feels like so long ago since he testified. To read it now, after all that has developed in the trial, really is heartbreaking.
Agreed. Reading this is truly heartbreaking. I'm glad that JD has been able to finally tell the world what he went through and that he JD is a victim of DV. MOO

Thank-you for taking the time to do this @Warwick7 ❤️

Since there is no court today I wanted to review some of JD's testimony.

Its rather long.....

> Depp stated that he was suddenly wrong about everything because Heard couldn’t ever be in the wrong. This escalated into frequent arguments in which Heard would name-call and demean him. Depp describes this arguing as something he would defend himself from in the beginning but which became unbearable and took a toll on his mind. “It's not a happy day, week, month when you're constantly being told how wrong you are, what an idiot you are. Then it increased and increased and became an endless circle, so as it escalated, I went straight to what I had learned as a youth which was to remove myself from the situation so that it couldn't continue,” Depp said on the stand. Heard also started being more controlling, down to when he was ALLOWED to go to sleep.

> Uber oath, JD testified about many different incidences of AH initiating physical fights. As we know rhe most explosive altercation between Depp and Heard took place in Australia, and it cost him the tip of his finger. During an argument over a post-nuptial agreement, Depp alleges that he was sitting down at the bar in his house when Heard grabbed a vodka bottle and threw it at him. The first bottle blew past his head, so she picked up a second large vodka bottle and hurled it at him, which hit his finger and shattered everywhere. It completely severed fingertip. All of the bones in the finger had also been crushed, and he ended up in the emergency room.

> AH also regularly accused him of having a drinking problem but refused to help him with his sobriety by quitting herself. He also testified that she regularly drank two bottles of wine a night and took drugs and magic mushrooms. When Depp would have a glass of wine, Heard would allegedly call him weak, an alcoholic, and tell him that his kids aren’t proud of him.

> JD stated that Heard has a need for conflict and a need for violence that erupts out of nowhere.

> There was the the incident, where AH was striking Depp anywhere she could get a shot in. Depp testified that they then didn’t see each other for an entire month.

> Depp , in telling how Heard would use information he had confided in her or things that were important to him against him, stated, "There were several occasions where Ms. Heard would tell me what a bad father I was and that I had no idea how to parent." Depp would tell Heard how important it was to him to see his kids and spend time with him, and this would allegedly send her into a tailspin, calling him a horrible father and preventing him from seeing his children because she needed him for her own needs.

> Depp went in for detox. The doctor who was supposed to oversee his detox and administer drugs that were meant to help alleviate withdrawal symptoms at some point handed the responsibility of administering these drugs OVER TO Amber. This became a problem when Depp felt intense withdrawal symptoms coming on and asked for his medication, which Heard refused to give to him. "I believe that was about the lowest point in my life. That was the lowest I'd ever felt as a human being because I had to say ‘please, please may I have the meds, because it's really kicking in?’ and she was adamant ‘no, it's not time,’” Depp testified under oath.

> JD then began to cry and beg, but AH would not let up. This required Depp to resort to scalding hot showers to distract his brain from the withdrawal. This led to Depp leaving his island where he was detoxing and asking Heard to stay away from him for five or six days to complete his detox. This was met with accusations of abandonment, but she eventually obliged.

> JD testified that if he tried to prove his version of a story or if he tried to stay and argue with her, he was sure it would escalate into violence, and it often did. He said: "Ms. Heard, in her frustration, rage, and anger, she would strike out. It could BEGIN with a slap, it could begin with a shove, it could begin with throwing a TV remote at my head, it could begin with throwing a glass of wine in my face… it was constant.”

And there's so much more...
Thanks for your astute observations. I'll look forward to Part Deux. :)

I went through her Instagram last night. It’s a fairly new account for a celeb (2017). In it I saw the IO guy friend, a lot. RP and her ex are shown on their wedding day. There are some weird post with AH and RP, to me they have a trace of intimacy.

She has a lot of post with Whit that are all positive but when I checked Whits Insta there aren’t a lot of photos of AH. Whits has the 4 letter word in more than half of hers.

The baby is cute, her middle name ‘Paige’ is after AH Mother.

I liked this witness, thought he came across well.
Obviously I enjoyed Depps attorney reading out Amberturd frequently and was very impressed that JD managed to keep his face straight, but I didn't like the way he spoke to the witness.
It was the first time I have been a bit unimpressed by JD Council, seemed a bit unnecessarily condescending. MOO
I think it is their 'job' to be somewhat condescending towards an 'expert' witness when what they are presenting is underwhelming or phoney.

When a well respected forensics expert or something like that is presenting their findings, one should not be condescending. But this social media 'expert' was setting forth questionable assertions and I think it was proper that JD's attorneys telegraphed their opinion of his testimony. JMO

Though I feel sympathetic towards JD more than AH and this is mainly due to that one audio where she is mocking him. I do find her a contemptuous and angry individual. And I think she would’ve been extremely difficult/toxic to live with. I believe Dr. Curry’s diagnosis. She’s never going to change. Personality is pretty much an unchangeable thing.

He on the other hand can change if he wants to. IMO the evidence is clear that he doesn’t want to grow up. He’s got serious addiction issues that he’s in denial about. He’s got serious anger issues that he’s in denial about. He surrounds himself with enablers. He dumped that one childhood friend who seemed to genuinely care for him bc he wouldn’t enable his bs - at least that was my read of it. That’s the only genuine friend I’ve seen of his from this trial. He wants to live in some make believe world. He was 50 when they got together and he blames his childhood for his choice to continue the relationship. He downplays his drug addiction significantly. Much has been said about her inability to take responsibility for anything but he’s pretty much the same! He’s just as immature as she is. At 50 it’s his responsibility to use discernment when entering relationships and engaging with people. But his unresolved co-dependency issues and unwillingness to take responsibility for his problems brought him to this point.

JMO - so ready for this trial to end!

Well, she did walk away with her $7 million and has kept it firmly in her pocket (and lied saying she donated it). I do believe the big stumbling block will be believing JD inflicted SA (and physical abuse (unlike AH's history)). Liars aren't very "likeable" when the truth finally comes out. Integrity matters... drunk or sober. jmo

ETA: 'Just exposing AH through this trial is a WIN for Johnny Depp!

I can't wait until we know when exactly she will be on the stand. I will be planning my week around that so I can be home!
Yep!

Interesting read here about JH and the witnesses to what happened with WH when she went to live with her etc. MOO

Who is Jennifer Howell?

p.s. apologies if this link has already been shared.

Yes this.

This is why I believe the prosecution was soft in the cross of Whitney.
Not because Team JD dismissed her testimony as useless anyway but because they know Whitney is scared of her sister. They also know about Howell's declaration.

I am very much hoping that Howell will testify.
At the same time Whitney cannot be blamed by her sister because her Whitney "protected "her with the false testimony.
I think it's possible Amber threatened Whitney. Plus Amber and Whitney are staying together in Fairfax iirc from what I read, and that likely is a pretty tense situation.

eta: adding the link
Agree wholeheartedly, Whitney is terrified of Amber and rightfully so..this is so dysfunctional on so many levels! My heart goes out to that poor child of Ambers:( Her daughter doesn't stand a chance having Amber as both her mother and father figure. Tragic...

I agree with much of the above, however, there is one big difference between JD and AH, that should not be ignored.

They both have their flaws and their personal issues.

But AH has made up VILE accusations against JD, like the rape w/the bottle incident, and it is outrageous and unforgivable, to try and ruin someone's life like that.

As screwed up as JD is, he did not do anything like that to AH. He has friends and employees he has had for decades. They remain loyal to him because he is generous and kind, although greatly flawed.

She is the opposite. And she is not a good person. So I would rather see Justice for JD because her vicious accusations should not be allowed to stand. JMO

I'm seriously struggling to understand what I'm reading here. It's so beyond objective and rational thinking.
I don't think that AH is always rational or objective.

Her own sister has said she was afraid AH would kill JD.

Amber Heard’s sister was ‘terrified’ of ‘violent’ sibling and feared she’d kill Johnny Depp, friend says

Don’t know for sure @Chelly , but Depp’s attny Dennison is back in the courtroom, I’m guessing for cross on someone.
Question on schedule....we have court M-Thurs. next week with AH having a bit more than 8 hours left and then JD rebuttal. Unless AH team saves at least 2-3 hours no chance to cross once their time is done. Then closing is on Fri. I heard somewhere where that will be done in morning and jury will have case by Friday afternoon? Anyone else heard that? If so that really encourages a quick verdict as I don't think this group wants to drag this on anymore.

What time do they begin? Lordy I'm going to have to get up at 5:30 am, particularly on the Friday. I do not want to miss Howell's testimony either.

With all due respect, do you think it's rational that a spouse gifts the other with a knife during a highly volatile relationship, that a spouse withholds medication from the spouse who is suffering serious withdrawal symptoms, that a spouse yells at, belittles, provokes a spouse who the person professes to love? Prevents that spouse to walk away from a fight, in an attempt to diffuse the turmoil ?
AH also claimed that she suffered from panic attacks daily, couldn't sleep and that she believed JD was gonna kill her. She also claimed he would cut himself and she would try to stop him etc... AH gifting JD a knife is curious. MOO

I agree that the SA allegations are entirely false. As well as the physical abuse allegations. I don’t believe her. I stopped giving her the benefit of the doubt as soon as I saw her testimony. She came off completely fake and unhinged. I think JD has been vindicated on that regardless of the outcome of this trial.

I think she’s a highly disturbed individual. But I don’t think she’s evil or capable of murder. I think she also has issues from her childhood that have caused her personality disorder. Ultimately I feel her behavior is a symptom of her disorder. She has zero self-awareness.

Edited to add: Think about how she scans and stares down the jury consistently, this is an example of someone who has zero self-awareness, she doesn’t realize how creepy this is.
