According to the 2016 documentary 'The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey', this was the timeline of events leading to, during and after, JonBenet's murder.
They created this from witness accounts such as family friends, the 911 dispatcher, Kim Archuletta, and former FBI agent, Ron Walker, who visited the crime scene. On my 3rd viewing of this documentary I decided to take notes about the important dates and their timelines:


Aug 6, 1990 - JonBenet is born


Aug 1994 - Burke hits JonBenet in the face with a golf club


Dec 25, 1996:


5:30pm - Ramsey's arrive at White's family party and have dinner there


8:30pm - Ramsey's leave the White's family party


9:15pm - Ramsey's return home; JonBenet is asleep


9:20pm - John Ramsey carries sleeping JonBenet to bed


10:30pm - Dr Werner Spitz claims JonBenet's dinner should have fully digested by now


Dec 26, 1996 (JonBenet is murdered):


1:30am (estimated) - JonBenet eats some pineapple (found undigested in her stomach during autopsy)


5:52am - Patsy Ramsey calls 911 after waking up and 'finding' the ransom note on the stairs


5:54am - Patsy Ramsey calls family friends the Fernie's and the White's and asks them to come over


5:59am - The first officer (French) arrives on scene; is handed ransom note


6:00am (shortly after/no specific time) - Family friends arrive


6:00-8:00am - Crime scene investigators and victim's advocates arrive


8:10am - Det. Arndt arrives at the Ramsey House


8:15am - Ron Walker contacted by Boulder P.D.


10:30am - Det. Arndt notices that John Ramsey has disappeared


11:00am - Ron Walker arrives at Boulder Police H.Q.


11:45am - Ron Walker meets with Sgt. Mason at Boulder Police H.Q.


12:00pm - Det. Arndt notifies Sgt. Mason that John Ramsey is still missing


01:00pm - Det. Arndt speaks to Ramsey and White


01:05pm - John Ramsey finds JonBenet's body while with Fleet White; carries her upstairs


01:10pm - Det. Arndt moves JonBenet's body again


01:20pm - Ron Walker arrives at the crime scene


01:40pm - John Ramsey calls pilot; asks him to prepare plane

Aug 6, 1998 - Det. Steve Thomas resigns from Boulder P.D. suggesting the Ramsey's intimidated the D.A.'s office


Oct 1999 - Grand jury indictment


Oct 13, 1999 - District Attorney, Alex Hunter, tells the media that they do not have sufficient evidence to arrest anyone investigated about the murder "at this time"


(Unknown date), 2000 - Sex offender Gary Oliva is arrested carrying a photo of JonBenet


(Unknown date), 2006 - John Mark Karr arrested in Thailand for murder of JonBenet


July 9, 2008 - Boulder District Attorney, Mary Lacy, publicly exonerates the Ramsey family


Oct 25, 2013 - Previously sealed grand jury documents are released to the public


What do you make of these events and do they explain or fit into any theories you have or have they shifted your opinion on things, seeing them laid out?

The father, John Ramsey, spent $millions on his many lawyers, "Team Ramsey" to delay, hinder, not cooperate and be a <modsnip> thorn with the Police investigation. He would sue anyone who dared mention the name Burke. Sued anyone who criticised him, even Detectives. People would not speak out due to fear.

Sick, guilty man. Wanted to fly out of Boulder on the day of his daughter’s murder ! Who, would do that?

Why not work with police to find the killer from day one? Why do a CNN interview before talking with police? Why did it take four long months for him to eventually talk to police, and only under strict circumstances stipulated by his lawyers? Why hire lawyers on the day of his daughter’s death? And one even contacted Fleet White on that day and many other associated with the Ramsey’s. WHO does that? No one if they are innocent.

Why hire a PR firm? Why not work with the FBI?

John Ramsey knows exactly what happened in that house that night. Whether Patsy killed her, Burke killed her or he did. The Ramsey’s fingered as many people as they could, work employees, housekeepers, even close friends like Fleet White. Only to keep the heat from themselves. Who else has done thus? Tell me?

Fess up you vile scum. He wants to be seen as an innocent instigator. He knows. He's riddled with guilt and cancer. He manipulated everything. He wanted INDEPENDENT everything. Refused an FBI polygraph. So, he could be in involved with $$$$’S manipulation.

John conned detective Lou Smit with religious persuasion. Lou never let go of his stun-gun theory up to his death. The stun-gun theory has now been totally debunked. And entry by basement window was bizarre, as dormant cobwebs and dust were all over the window. Nothing was disturbed. Burke would harm JonBenet. Hit her on the head with a golf club a year before; could have sexually interfered with her; would wipe his scat over her walls and candy, and would poke her with the end of his toy train tracks.

Don’t think of John as yourself. John is a cunning and manipulative person. The family was actually dysfunctional.

Thank you for your hard work and time in putting this together. I have forgotten a lot of the time line so it’s very helpful to me.

I had specifically forgotten that JR was missing almost 2 hours that day.
The Ramsey‘s behavior that day was strange,IMO. Who calls all their friends over to their house to contaminate the crime scene, and put their daughter’s life in even greater danger, if she had really been kidnapped. They did opposite of what any other parents would have done, if they were truly trying to save their daughter from a “kidnapper”.

There were also questionable things going on in that family, even prior to JB’s death. All MOO.

Although my theory has changed somewhat throughout the years, BR has never been a POI for me.

I don't think the stun gun theory has been debunked. John and Patsy attended the SuperBowl in FL in 1996. Police discovered a stun gun booklet from inside the home; although the stun gun was missing as were other pieces of evidence that were gone, such as the remaining roll of duct tape, the remaining nylon cord... PR purchased the cord from the local hardware store as Investigators recovered the receipt along with remaining packages matching the identical type with the cord wrapped around JBR's wrists and garrote.

The autopsy report tells us that JonBenet had acute and chronic vaginal abuse. Currently, I believe she was being groomed by her father. Recall a blue cloth was used to wipe JBR's thighs, between her legs, on the evening of her death. Penile penetration had not yet begun but possibly his digits were.

Every one of the specialists consulted by police concurred that JonBenét Ramsey had sustained a serious injury to her hymen several days prior to her death. This injury had altered the structure of the hymen and had healed prior to the events of Christmas night. The experts were in agreement that the specific location and nature of this injury to the hymen (the inferior hymenal rim) distinguished it from normal genital variations.

JR put JBR to bed that evening (as so noted in the above timeline kindly composed by @Laura Mountford ) and likely many evenings for a purpose. He could have been playing a sexual asphyxiation, breath play, with the garrote when things went sideways and he thought he'd killed her. There is a time delay after the SA and before JonBenet takes a violent blow to the skull which could account for the time when he had to tell Patsy, then she wrote the infamous Ransom Note. Further, I believe she is the one who turned down the page in the dictionary pointing to the word "incest".

The Johnny Depp movie "Nick of Time" was recently released, Nov 1996, and viewed that evening at the White's home. Theme: His daughter is kidnapped for ransom, of an odd kind, by a political 'faction' as he stands holding an attache case in the airport. The entire movie takes place in real time. Many lines from other movies are noted as being written in the RN.

JB admits taking the blue Samsonite to the basement in preparation for the Christmas party held earlier in the week at their home, as the story goes. I think JB would further groom his baby girl by reading to her the adult book of nudes that was stowed away inside the luggage. Later, it was attributed to being JARs book so he definitely knew his father was involved. What'd JAR say: "The person who did this deserves forgiveness" or words similar.

Many years ago, I was watching Court TV when they were discussing "Perfect Murder, Perfect Town" produced by Lawrence Schiller when something caught my eye. I grabbed a SS of it. Dr Seuss wrote only one book for adults: "The Seven Lady Godivas". It contains drawings of nudes. IMOO, JB read this book to his daughter in the evenings.
