TN - Memphis - Man Randomly Shooting & Posting Videos on Facebook, 3 dead - 9 Sept 2022 *arrest*

So sad for the Memphis community. The police are now going around to neighborhoods notifying people on loud speakers that the emergency is over and people can come out of their houses (per my friends). Doesn't really feel like it's a good idea with what has been going on outside the last several days...Come on Memphis justice system...

A huge bravo to the Memphis police!

Watching Fox Live. Feb 2020 - Murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment. Warrant issued this morning. Shooting rampage started at 4:30 pm. Started in an Infiniti, then carjacked a Toyota, then got in a Dodge Challenger. Several injured by gunfire. One confirmed dead, so far.

Edit: Reporters just clarified Feb 2020 is *attempted* murder.

I really hope neighboring police depts can provide some staffing relief in coming days/weeks. The Memphis LE community is in desperate need of time to debrief, begin to work through this last week, and start the “come-down” process from what I’m sure has been a constant state of fight-or-flight stress.

Yep. He served 3 years for attempted first-degree murder. He's been out for a few months. Is 3 years a typical sentence for this crime?
