Ooooo!! I would submit that. Definitely looks like it could be a match.

Definitely a Potential Match, here is Sylvia Torgow's thread:

Back in 2015 there was a short discussion between @Sleuthster and @carbuff about Megan Emerick as a possibility for this Jand Doe.

Do either of you know if she was ever submitted? I really believe she is a good candidate. She is not listed as being ruled out.

I don't think I ever submitted her.

I have reviewed the thread and don’t see where Rosemary Buck has been mentioned as a possible candidate for this Jane Doe.

PMI for UID is 1-12 months and Rosemary‘s DLC was 8/11/73. This is only 12 days until discovery. However, this is FL in the heat of the summer and decomposition can be accelerated.

UID recon looks a lot like Rosemary and she may have left with someone on their motorcycle which is aligned with the circumstances of our unidentified. She was last seen on the back of a motorcycle.

Possible?

Buck was last seen in Syracuse, New York on August 11, 1973. She was hitchhiking at the corner of Sixth North Street and Wolf Street at noon, and may have ridden away on the back of someone's motorcycle. She lived in the 1100 block of Wolf Street.

Buck frequented the now-defunct Yellow Balloon Bar on Thompson Road near Erie Boulevard east in 1973. She frequently traveled to attend rock concerts, and she told friends she planned to go to Boston, Massachusetts to meet an unknown male friend.

Sylvia Torgow on The Doe Network:

It's been a year since I submitted Rose Hockenson, (her NamUs page was last modified on 3/31/23) and they were trying to
@Melt71
Got email back!
They have been working on doing a comparison between Rose and the Altamonte Springs Jane Doe. (Someone sent her information to them before she was entered into NamUs) They had to file a report with Miami Dade to get Rose into NamUs.

I am so glad they got back to me!! She didn’t say if they have DNA for Rose yet, so that might be the hang up, but not sure.
So it's been a year and Rose still isn't listed on Altamonte Spring's NamUs profile as a rule out. I would think by now they would know either way. Rose's NamUs profile was modified on 3/31/23 and Jane Doe's was just modified on 4/16/23 - not additional rule outs were added. (maybe they know something and aren't saying)

Oooh, sure hope so. Happy to hear things are moving.

Cynthia Dawn Constantine - #MP4532
Missing From: Oakdale, NY
Missing Age: 15
DLC: July 11, 1969
Height: 5'3" (63 inches)
Hair Color: Blond/Strawberry
Circumstances: Cynthia was last seen in Oakdale, New York on July 11, 1969. She went to take the dog for a walk along the railroad tracks of the Montauk branch train of the Long Island Railroad. The dog returned home without her just a few minutes later, with its collar and leash still on. (additional details available on Cynthia's Charley Project page -- the circumstances make it seem unlikely she could be the Altamonte Springs JD, but considering she was last seen near an LIRR stop, it isn't completely beyond the realm of possibility that she either boarded a train or accepted a ride from someone)

Niki Diane Britten - #MP7828
Missing From: Albany, OR
Missing Age: 15
DLC: July 16, 1969
Height: 5'4" (64 inches)
Hair Color: Brown
Circumstances: Niki ran away from her home in Albany, Oregon on July 16, 1969. She was living with her grandparents at the time of her disappearance. They legally adopted her after her parents divorced; this was supposedly to ensure that Niki's father, who was allegedly abusive, wouldn't get custody of her.

Her mother, Nancy Mahaffey, remarried and moved to Pennsylvania, leaving Niki behind in Oregon; Niki began running away after that. For a time in 1966 and 1967, she stayed at Hillcrest, a juvenile correction facility.

Niki called family friends in September 1969, trying to get in touch with her grandparents. She said she was in New York, had a job and was all right. This was the last time her family heard from her. Her grandparents kept the same phone number for the rest of their lives and never changed the locks at their Albany home, in case she should come home or try to contact them. (per Charley Project)

Hair Color: Blond/Strawberry
Circumstances: Joyce was last seen in Grand Prairie, Texas on September 6, 1970. She got into an argument with her parents about staying out late, and left the house angrily. She lived in the 300 block of southeast 9th Street. Joyce has never been heard from again. Few details are available in her case. (per Charley Project)

Missing Age: 19
DLC: September 13, 1970
Height: 5'5" (65 inches)
Hair Color: Brown
Circumstances: On September 14, 1970 Alexis Duggan left her residence between the hours of midnight and 4:00 AM and has not been seen or heard from since. She left behind her ten month old daughter and did not take any personal property with her.

Irene Lanora LaRosa - #MP37130
Missing From: Ellington, CT
Missing Age: 17
DLC: March 1971
Height: 5'3" (63 inches)
Hair Color: Brown
Circumstances: Irene was last seen in Ellington, Connecticut sometime in March 1971. She walked away from her home and has never been heard from again. Irene was not reported missing until 2016, decades after her disappearance. She grew up in a Catholic orphanage, the Our Lady of Rose Hill in New Britain, Connecticut. Few details are available in her case. (per Charley Project)

Lynne Kathryn Schulze - #MP6975
Missing From: Middlebury, VT
Missing Age: 18
DLC: December 10, 1971
Height: 5'3" (63 inches)
Hair Color: Light brown
Circumstances: Lynne was last seen leaving her dormitory on the Middlebury College campus in Middlebury, Vermont on December 10, 1971, the first day of final exams before Christmas break started. She apparently stopped at a local health food store, All the Good Things, and bought dried prunes, and was seen eating them outside the store at 12:30 p.m. She said she was going to take a bus to New York, but the bus had already left.

Lynne returned to campus and was seen in her dormitory. She left her room at 12:55 p.m. She was on her way with her friends to take a final exam in her English Drama class when she said she had forgotten her favorite pen and was going to go back to get it. The exam was scheduled for 1:00 p.m.; she never showed up.

At 2:15 p.m., Lynne was seen standing on Court Street, across the street from All the Good Things and the bus stop where she'd been earlier. This is the last time anyone ever saw or heard from her.

She left her identification, checkbook and all her personal belongings behind when she vanished. She may have been carrying $30 in cash with her. Campus security was alerted to her disappearance two days after she was last seen, but her parents were not notified for a week.

Lynne had mentioned the idea of faking her own death and starting life anew prior to her disappearance, but her friends did not take her seriously. In the letters she wrote frequently to family and friends back home, she admitted she felt homesick and had considered withdrawing from school. However, she never indicated she was planning on dropping out of sight or leaving college before the autumn term was over, and she did register for spring semester classes. (additional details available on Lynne's Charley Project page -- Robert Durst is considered a possible suspect in her disappearance, although there is no concrete evidence foul play was involved)

Missing From: Fairfax, VA
Missing Age: 16
DLC: May 11, 1972
Height: 5'3" (63 inches)
Hair Color: Brown
Circumstances: Helen was last seen in Fairfax, Virginia on May 11, 1972. She has never been heard from again. It's possible she traveled to the Washington D.C. area after her disappearance. Few details are available in her case. (per Charley Project)

Carlene Sessions Tengelsen - #MP10554
Missing From: Macon, GA
Missing Age: 16
DLC: May 11, 1972
Height: 5'9" (69 inches)
Hair Color: Brown
Circumstances: Carlene was last seen in Macon, Georgia on June 21, 1972. That afternoon, she left her home on East Street and drove her family's white 1963 Pontiac station wagon to the now-defunct Westgate Shopping Center off Pio Nono Avenue. She had a driver's license for only a short time and this was the first time she'd driven anywhere alone.

Carlene planned to pick up her younger sister from summer day camp after she left the shopping center. She invited her younger brother and older sister to accompany her, but neither of them wanted to go, and so Carlene left alone. She saw some boys she knew at the shopping center, and stopped at her boyfriend's workplace behind the shopping center and left a note on his car telling him she'd see him that night.

She never returned home and has never been heard from again. Her mother realized she was missing when Carlene's younger sister called to say she hadn't been picked up from camp. Carlene's mother notified the police, but they refused to begin a search until 24 hours had passed. (additional details available on Carlene's Charley Project page)

Rose Lena Cole - #MP5959
Missing From: Oakland, CA
Missing Age: 16
DLC: Fall 1972 / Summer 1973
Height: 5'3" (63 inches)
Hair Color: Brown
Circumstances: Rose was enrolled in the Synanon Foundation, a drug and alcohol treatment center in Oakland, California, at the time of her disappearance. She had been court-ordered there after running away repeatedly and telling a judge she used and sold drugs.

Accounts of exactly when she went missing vary considerably; it may have been anytime between the fall of 1972 and the summer of 1973.

Rose apparently ran away from the Synanon and sent two letters to her family after leaving, assuring them that she was fine. In one of the letters she said she was living on the streets in the Chinatown neighborhood of San Francisco and added that she was sick with a kidney infection.

Rose wrote she would not write to her family again until she was 18, because she was worried the Synanon officials would find her and bring her back to the treatment center against her will. (additional details available on Rose's Charley Project page)
