Found Deceased MN - Madeline Jane Kingsbury, 26, mother of 2, Winona, 31 Mar 2023 *arrest* #2

This is JMO, but if I had to fault MK for anything, it would be that she was probably more than forthcoming to AF about her future plans, especially if her new location included the fact that she was going to move in with another man. If she was pregnant, AF might have figured out that he wasn't or couldn't be the father. All just more motive.
MK had to be forthcoming to AF, because of the kids. She had to tell him where she was moving, Etc On account of custody issues.
MK was in a DV situation. From what I've seen if they don't tell the abuser what they want to know they beat it out of them. Easier to tell him the truth than take a beating.
AF probably threatened to harm her family. Knowing the abuse she was taking she wanted to keep her family out of it, Its just so sad.

I wouldn't put it past AF to have secretly searched Maddi's phone, computer, email, ect and found out about Maddi's new boyfriend and her plans for him to move in with her, along with the possibility of her being pregnant. She may have never told AF anything regarding that on her own.

That's my thought, Maddie had no secrets ...

I totally agree with you Joe! He had the knowledge to think he out smarted LE & the BCA too, but got busted on that. He probably prided himself on staying a few steps ahead of everyone.

Finding Madeline Kingsbury

A message from Dave Kingsbury:

“We appreciate so much everyone who holds Madeline in their hearts. She will always be a loud voice for abused people and there will be justice for her and E and N. "Not in my town, not in my county, and not in my state". We must not let murderers and abusers simply get away with it when young mothers just vanish one day and most people's reaction is "Oh, I wonder what happened to her" and then let it go at that. Our unending thanks to law enforcement, first responders, and the dedicated community of thousands of caring people like all of you who didn't forget her and never gave up looking for her. We're not done working for her yet. There's a tough criminal trial ahead as well as difficult custody and numerous family court issues we are in the middle of litigating right now. We appreciate the continued support for her and her children. "Justice for Maddi" should be on everyone's lips and on the back of everyone's vehicle.”

In a statement to FOX 9, Madeline Kingsbury's father David Kingsbury said:

"In 1942 when the tide of the war had finally turned in favor of the Allies after the battles of Stalingrad and El Alamein, the British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, famously said, ‘This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.’

"We are grateful beyond measure for the diligence, dedication and efforts of the Winona County Attorney’s Office, law enforcement agencies at every level, other first responders, and the multitude of many ordinary people in the community who’ve volunteered their resources, time and prayers.

"Our family realizes that this is a long and arduous process. The pursuit of justice for Madeline is worth every ounce of strength and effort we can muster. Not just for her alone, but also for every person suffering from domestic violence and abuse. You have not heard the last from her. Her voice will remain LOUD!"

Monday’s indictment accuses Fravel of killing Kingsbury while he was subjecting her to domestic abuse and said her death occurred “under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to human life.”

The grand jury examined 31 witnesses, the indictment says.

Winona County District Court Judge Nancy Buytendorp raised Fravel’s bail to $3 million with no conditions or $2 million with conditions, Kyle Christopherson, a spokesperson for the Minnesota Judicial Branch, told CNN Tuesday.

Fravel is scheduled to appear in court again on December 14.

WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) – A custody hearing was held Friday morning via Zoom concerning the children of Madeline Kingsbury and Adam Fravel.

Fravel’s parents are seeking a temporary order to see the two children, who are currently in the custody of Kingsbury’s parents.

According to the Fravels, they haven’t seen the kids in six months.

Judge Mary Leahy did not approve the order sought in Friday’s hearing and said there needs to be more discussion before a decision is made.

The next hearing is set for January 9, 2024.

After everything said and done by the Fravel family prior to Maddie being found and up to Adam's arrest - any visitation needs to be heavily weighed as to the best interests of the children. IMO, it's a solid NOPE ...

Two and a half months to 'discuss'?!?

Judge is in no rush (wonder how much time they are taking for the Holidays) -- but it robs everyone: one more Christmas season with their futures in doubt.

If Judgy had a heart it could be done in a month.

Of course: MOO - IANAE - YMMV - etc.

Snipped from link above-

Additionally, the Kingsbury lawyers are looking to continue their discovery into the custody case, including a deposition of the Fravel family and Adam.

The judge did approve the request, excluding Adam’s deposition.

JMO, there is more to be discovered about the Fravel family, that takes time ...
Madeline's Father who has custody of the kids, is willing to forego quick decisions to ultimately gain a win (so to speak),
All just MOO.
