I understand that sometimes if a predator feels the compulsion to attack and no one matching his idea of a victim is available he will attack whomever he can. But, I wouldn't be surprised if he found just what he was looking for in Brianna and the other victim. Gosh, I hope he is stopped before he attacks again. And, I hope and pray that Brianna is found.

If he is going after a certain "type" of girl, a certain type of look, then he may have spotted Brianna that night, either at the concert or casino. Remember, she was only in town for winter break and not staying at that house regularly (had been staying with her parents)...so following this theory, he must have specifically followed her home that night. Makes sense if he was looking for a victim he might go to a concert or casino. He just basically lucked out that she slept on the couch and not in her friend's room.

Those houses are close together...but seems nobody heard a truck coming or going that late at night, no tire tracks in the driveway that we know of. Yet I can't imagine him walking her out of the house to his truck parked further away.

I don't know...at this point in the case, nothing is still really all that clear.

Does anyone know the street/street address or know where the immediate area is where the other victim whom he took home is located?

Don't know if you're familiar with the Hillside Strangler crimes they happened in the 1970's all the victims had long hair, similar body types.
I know Brianna was of small statue, I'm assuming assault victim if asian is petite also, easier to overpower.

If the sexual attack didn't occur in the house, then how do you explain the DNA they recovered from presumably the couch?

My theory: I think he used the bear to cover her face so she wouldn't make any noise and raped her right there on the couch. Then he probably discovered that he killed her in the act, so he took her and the bear with him, probably exiting through the back door, which would explain how the blanket wound up in the kitchen.

JMHO.

I am with you on that theory as well.

I tried finding address on the first thread, it has locale of first attack,
too many though, need help!

Lion, someone had posted a map somewhere with dots marking all three attacks, but I can't find it. I can't recall if it was on a news site or a forum. I'll keep checking anf post if I find it.

I doubt if a rape victim's street address has been released, at least I hope it hasn't. Her name shouldn't be released either.

I would be interested to know more about how that happened. Why would he do that? That was so risky! Did he just drive by and push her out of the truck?

Why did he not take Brianna back?

I'm with you on that one, I think with each victim, he became "more experienced and progressed more violently".

Plus way too much publicity on this one, probably got scared and used other means.

IMO

He probably parked vehicle block over, that's why no one tire tracks. I don't think he knew he was going to end up taking her. I believe he took her out back door, only because of blanket found in kitchen. I do think he looks for a certain type victim, small women, his description 5"7" to 5'9" not very tall himself. IMO

About 5 p.m. Nov. 13, a 21-year-old UNR student was walking to her home and was in the parking lot of her apartment complex in the 400 block of College Drive when a man grabbed her and fondled her. He ran away after she kicked him and screamed.
About 2 a.m., Dec. 16, a 22-year-old UNR student was walking to her apartment in the 1400 block of North Virginia Street when a man grabbed her from behind and rendered her unconscious. She woke up inside his pickup and was forced to commit a sexual act on him before he drove her home.

Wow, the Reno real estate market looks bad if you are a seller.

Does anyone know anything about the North Valleys neighborhood? I looks to be northwest of town. I wonder if what the work and age demographics are for that area.

High school in that area.

If you are referring to the neighborhood Brianna was taken from, I believe it was said, on Fox News a couple days ago, that it was a "working class" neighborhood. But mostly occupied by students from the University.
