Mark Stenberg, known as Blu Crush, was promoting his second album in Houston when someone shot him several times in the chest.

Aurelia Stenberg said her husband had a troubled life as a former gang member. But she said he began to turn things around three years ago when he became a rapper.

"He was a good person,” Aurelia Stenberg said. "He really wanted to do something for everyone."


So sad as it sounds as if he was trying to turn his life around.

Do rappers hold grudges? It seems like even if someone is trying to turn their life around, their past comes back to haunt them. So sad.

It's sad this man got killed, it seems he was turning his life around and had plans to help the poor and troubled kids.

Yes tez they do!! But he was a new rapper so IMO this has to do with his past, the gang members.

BTW It was such a sad loss the day Tupac was killed, he is my favorite. This is one of my fav songs by him. Even if you dont like rap, IMO you will love this song

Yes, it was a very sad day. I thought he had a great acting career ahead of him also.

Most gangs adhere to the philosophy of once a gang member, always a gang member. Leaving can get you in big trouble, even killed.
