I say its a different Brad Cooper since Brad started worked here in NC with Cisco and purchased the house in Cary in 2000. So he could not have been working a forklift in Canada in 2004.

I'd be worried not just about crime websites, but also about all the research I've done for cases. Like I got curious about what Enwistle found when he looked up something along the lines of "killing with a knife" and put his exact search terms into Google to see what he found.

Every time I follow a spouse killer case, my husband tells me very forcefully that he will never lay a hand on me, much less kill me. Poor guy, I ask him a few questions and he thinks I'm suspecting him to be the next perp.

I'm like you, though. If my husband were to die, I'd certainly be the suspicious spouse. They'd take one look at my computer and wonder why I spend hours on crime websites!

Does anyone else think it's odd after reading Brad's blog where he talks about how he just got his MBA, and has a Cisco certification and is training etc..., just doesn't sound like someone contemplating suicide.

He's (too full of himself) too narcissistic to kill himself. He'd never get over it! :waitasec:

I thought that you could do it if it were a direct flight. I can remember flying my grandson on direct flights. His parents had to give a signed letter of the person who was picking him up. We had to show identification. The same for the return flight.

They wouldn't let us do it... Even with a direct flight!
I offered to pay whatever price for them to be escorted......they all said NO! This was Minneapolis / St Paul but heck wouldn't think it would make a difference.

Actually, it really does sound like him.

"Charismatic personality."

The way he described his duties at the IMAX or whatever. In other words he was an usher, LOL.

This was most likely his positions earning his way through college.

Who would ever have thought there would be two Brad Coopers in the same small town?

I think that he was furious that Nancy stayed out so late and was having a good time. I know that my imagination would have been running if I were in his situation. I think that he was up and said something sarcastic to Nancy about being out so late. I think that she probably gave a flip answer back to him to enraged him; and that's all she wrote. He unleashed his anger and didn't stop.

I wonder how hard it was for Nancy to "put up a good front" when she socialized with the neighbors. To see truly happy couples and wish you had that for yourself and your children must have been very difficult for her to deal with on a daily basis. The neighborhood seems very affluent and family oriented and yet behind closed doors, Nancy was living a nightmare.

Before I met my wonderful husband, my mother told me, "There are worse things than not being married and one of them is being married to the wrong person." How true! How true!

Sewing Buddy.......WELCOME to Weblseuths

and you mom was a very wise woman!

See, your husband uses the reverse. My husband puts his iced tea glass up to the light checking it for powder traces. ;) He refuses to get life insurance because he says that I am planning to knock him off. He says all of these things in jest, but I know that there is a certain wondering behind it.

He thinks that there is something wrong with people who follow crime. I do so because I try to figure out who did it, how they did it and most of all, WHY. I just do not understand why people hurt others, murder others , steal from others, etc. It just confounds me. I try to make sense of it.

My husband says that it is like the show, "Unsolved Mysteries." He says, just like the show, I will never get the answers I am seeking. I suspect that he is right because those of us with "normal" minds just cannot think like those who commit crimes.

dn't know that. Must be domestic

Thanks cheeko--didn't know that. maybe US domestic. We have sent little ones internationally-but needed to pay an extra fee for them to be escorted.

:)blowkiss: give those grandkids of yours a big hug from me and enjoy!)

Northwest / Delta & the others had better not let me find out they lied to me!!! LOL Heads will roll......

We wanted to take the Grandkids to Disney World.
Grandkids said thanks for the big hug!!!:blowkiss:

I think my husband thinks the same thing.
(Trying to vacuum first floor between Fox commercials)

I'm hurrying! Vacuum and mopping mine here. Been putting it off for days because of WS. Not a good think with 4 dogs and a kitty. Mostly hard floors in my house. Love em, but they are time consuming.

Standard procedure to pay for unaccompanied minors...rules/fees vary from airline to airline.

Hey!
I'm a bit concerned for you. Are you still in your situation? If yes, do you have a plan that will help you out of the "endurance test"?
I like the way you defined it..I've been in one for almost 30 yrs:(
^i^

Wow! It's sure hard to have a job and keep up with you guys. I just want to respond to Taximom from another thread (and thanks to Blink I may have gotten it right!) So bear with me...

I would agree with you normally, but to me he only seemed interested in himself. That's pretty apparent on most, if not all, of his websites. The ONLY places I saw pics of his children were on the news sites! I think this was just his sick, twisted way of manipulating her into staying. He knew where her heart was and that was with the kids. I think the only reason he would want the girls was to hurt her more.

You are absolutely correct. True to his narcissistic self. A narcissist views loved ones as possessions...but that's not what makes him evil IMO. There are plenty of men like him out there. I, unfortunately, happened to be married to one of them. Everything that poor Nancy experienced, I have experienced as well. But, I can't begin to tell you how many men out there behave the same way when going through a divorce. Thank goodness she did have family to turn to. Many women, including myself don't. The women who get out are strong and no doubt are motivated by their love for their children. My motto was always "life does not have to be an endurance test"...there had to be better. When women lose their ability to earn income, in some way their roles are now viewed differently by their spouses (especially egocentrics). Brad had a SAHM for a wife...he did his job by paying for everything...her job was to take care of the kids. It doesn't surprise me that he may have been an "absentee" father. His girls were young...and they were his wife's responsibility in his mind. But, he very well could have been a good father to his daughters (by his standards). Narcissists are all about appearances so in some respect he would have had to try and maintain the "image"- husband, father, family guy. We obviously feel he failed miserably. But, he was/is these kids' father...and to be told that his children were being taken away shatters that mirror image that he has of himself. Don't get me wrong...if this man killed Nancy (and I feel that he did) he is pure EVIL. Anyone who takes another life is in my book. I just don't think taking the kids passports makes him that.
Phew! I'm done.
Bless Nancy and her babies...
