I noticed something in the latest document dump that makes me want to revisit this subject. It was in the interviews with Cindy's co-workers.

They said that Casey OFTEN come by Cindy's office to drop Caylee off when she (Casey) was "on her way to work". They said she was dressed "as if she was going to work" - whatever that means. I guess meaning not in shorts or jeans, flip-flops, etc. I believe someone said this would happen at least once per week or so.

Now, according to other information Cindy's normal work hours were usually until around 5 or 6 PM. So if Casey is dropping Caylee off at Cindy's office, it was BEFORE 5 or 6 PM, unleass Cindy was working late. And how late would Cindy be working with a 2 1/2 year old there with her?

So, was Casey going out partying and clubbing at 5 - 6 PM? Hardly, since the clubs don't get going until much later, say 9 - 10PM. And if she was going out partying, would she not need to change clothing somewhere? Work clothes are not club clothes.

This went on for TWO YEARS???? And neither George nor Cindy had ANY CLUE
that Casey did not have a job? I do NOT believe that at all!

Also, Cindy made statements to LE that Casey never was away from home overnight until right before she went "missing". Yet Ricardo stated that Casey AND Caylee stayed at his place numerous times. Wasn't that in March?

I still think Casey was "working" during those two years. I do not believe that Cindy and George fully supported all of Casey's financial needs for two years. She was getting money from somewhere and I do not believe she was stealing it for two years.

Any thoughts or input?

heck I'm still trying to figure out how she knew how to get money from routing numbers, fake deposits and such.....Just from hanging at home with the kid--I don't think so....:waitasec:

She was probably bringing Caylee by in the afternoon, then going to meet friends or boyfriends. She didn't want the little ball and chain with her, cramping her style. My concerns are the days she didn't drop Caylee off with CA. The days when Zani was supposedly watching Caylee. Who knows what the poor little girl was subject to.

Yes, it's long been baffling to me that CA and GA bought KC's "I'm going to work" garbage for so long and had no clue. It was probably easier for them to believe KC than doubt her and open up a can of worms.

This is one of the biggest mysteries of the case. How did the parents NOT figure this out, especially with her living in their house.
So many questions about this: Didn't they ever notice her not filing taxes, going to the bank, having a pay stub, paying a bill. How did she pay for her cell phones? Her new clothes? Did she EVER buy anything at all for her daughter? A birthday present, even? Who paid for Casey and Caylee's medical care? Did she have a credit card? How about gas for her (free?) car? I agree....I don't know how anyone could keep this sham up for this long. She had to have been stealing, what other answer is there?

Bumming off friends, and toward the end there she was working at Fusian (although have I read that was a non-paid position?)

Bold-me
This is why I can't wait for the trial. I'm betting that LE knows exactly where she was going and what she was doing. I have to wonder if photography wasn't involved.
Cindy and George had to know she was up to no good, yet they
did nothing.

Maybe it was an under-the-table position with the HotMoms4U escort service?

Seriously, though...it makes no sense. I went to the mall with my mom the other day and realized I had left my debit card at home. I let her buy me lunch and declined my usual latte. I can't imagine asking my mom for money for two years and not have her asking me what was going on.

She was getting money somehow, and like the OP said--I don't think it was all theft-related. Maybe she learned that stealing was...easier...than what she was doing?

The mind, it boggles.

KC might have had a job just not one on the books.

Well I still want to know what LE meant when they asked George "what happened two years ago" in reference to Casey. This was asked in July or August, not far from the 2 year mark of Casey getting Fired, April 2006. George was suspect of her not working, whether or not he brought this up to Cindy or not who knows, if he did I'm sure she just sweep it under the rug like she did with all of Casey's doings.Cindy did have to take out a second mortgage, don't know if that was for Casey or George. In Casey's jailhouse phone conversation with George she made reference to their "strained" relationship, could that have been because she knew that he was onto her, not having a job. IIRC George and Cindy where separated at the time Jesse asked Casey to marry him, christmas or new years 2006. Did Casey want her parents to split, is April when they got back together and Casey's loss of her job with George back in the house make it difficult for her not having anywhere to go? She is the type of person to me that blames everybody else for her failures.I don't know where she was 5 days a week for over 2 years and never being seen by anyone that could say she was not at work. It really does boggle my mind.

KC was lounging on the couch with her feet proped up, eating snacks for 2 years? :)
I don't know where she was, but yes I believe she got money by theft or from her parents. Why they did not know I have no clue, other than.....
I just think their family unit is totally disfunctional and CA and GA "didn't want to admit KCs wrong doings" or confront KC because they feared KC and losing little Caylee, if they didn"t help KC. And so KC held Caylee over their head as collaterol so to speak.
Which ironically only made things worse as we know :-(

It is hard to imagine out why the family didn't figure it out..that is, until I remember Mark Hacking. His lies were so elaborate that he had family members on both sides totally fooled. He went so far as to ask his mother-in-law to help him with research papers to keep up the front.

These monsters are frightening in their calculations--and they play on our biggest "weaknesses" love and trust.

At one point Casey was spending a lot of time with JG and his family until she and JG broke off their engagement.

I think Casey's pretend job at Universal as an event planner sometimes involved events that were held in the evening providing her with a "cover story" as to why she would need a babysitter after 5-6 pm.

Also, if IIRC, GA claimed Casey told him she was planning on working late June 16th and as such would be spending the night with Caylee at Zanny's. I think these alleged sleepovers at the babysitter's happened several times primarily as a cover for Casey wanting to be with her BF or go to a party and not being able to rely on CA to babysit "the kid".

If she was stealing for two years, wouldn't that have come to light earlier?

I just can't reconcile that and the Anthonys' claims that they believed she was working. Was no one all "Aren't you getting a paycheck?"

My question is, did LE go back before the events of June 15th and look at transactions going back awhile? I'd like to know exactly how much check fraud she was involved with.

Orlando has quite a few "Men's Clubs" that have dancers behind a glass partition. Men can't touch the girls at all and from what I understand, the hours are very flexible and you more or less work when and if you want. I've wondered if she possibly did that type thing?

Yes, I remember him.

I agree, these monsters are really really good at deception.

So very true. IMO He had everyone fooled for years also.People want to think they would notice a monster but usually you dont till they act on it,then it to late.

KC was a liar she probably lied and said most of my check pays for the nanny.

We know from LA his parents (mostly CA) had been supporting Caylee (&KC) for a long time so they all had to know she wasn't making any $$$..IOW!..She was NOT working!..But still they now all claim they didn't know anything about it?..Makes no sense! And neither does CA telling co-workers she couldn't "afford" to take custody of Caylee since she had been providing for her all along..Nothing would've changed financially except for a legal piece of paper.

If you read some of the history of the family, it appears that their lives have been fairly chaotic for a few years...what with a new baby, family members in assisted living, marital conflicts, money problems, work responsibilites, job problems and on an on. It's not a stretch to think that there was way too much going on to focus on any one problem during the course of these events. Life has become very complicated...sadly, the fallouts are proving to be more than people are able to deal with.

Mikeysmommom, that is a brilliant theory! That would definitely account for it.

I know that in one of her coversations with a friend, she stated that her Nanny charged a lot but she was worth it. I'll look for the reference.

Also, she told her family she was an "event planner" and probably led them to believe she was never at a desk very long, always off at event sites making plans, yadda yadda.... and they should always call her on her cell phone if they needed to.
