google it

other articles reference a Jacob wetterling obsession, an obsession over the murder of a local boy, he frequently took his victims to the same location, he had a miniature police station with pictures of murdered children, fbi now assisting

Thank goodness and many prayers for a victim from many years ago that recognized him and immediately reported him.

From Snarky's link above:

"This was a guy she taught her daughter to trust when she was in water over her head."

Wow - huh? It boggles my mind.

Thanks for posting this. Great information and graphs. This article paints a very creepy picture. Showering with boys at the pool, etc, etc. But the snippet below caught my eye.

Other things that now seem suspicious to the boys and others include the backyard of the house on Rogers where Acker lived for more than 17 years. Fenced and about the size of two cars side-by-side, it's covered in concrete.
Greg Tyczkowski bought the house from Acker in May.
"It was something we just kind of joked about. My mom was joking around and was like, 'They found a whole bunch of bodies under something like that back in the day.' I was like, 'Ha, ha, ha.' "
It's unclear when the pavement was poured.
Police say Acker is obsessed with missing and murdered boys, but he is not a suspect in any killings.
Tyczkowski said the house, even the basement, was spotless. Not a speck of dust anywhere. The replica of a city with police and fire stations was in an upstairs room when Tyczkowski first looked at the house. Police would later discover a dozen pictures of abducted and murdered children pasted to the walls inside the model police station.

Oh they have to look closer at this guy for crimes beyond pedophilia. Beyond weird.

We haven't heard the end of this guy, for sure! At the below link are a number of videos about his arrest and arraignment Saturday. The FBI is involved now and I believe they have a can of worms to go through. They had received over 75 calls as of this weekend.

Of course this guy is cooperative, just for the one's they knew about before and the statute of limitations is over. But...................I bet his cooperation will begin to wane if anything comes of any of these numerous phone calls to LE turn into anything.

I agree, fran. We haven't heard the last of this by far.

I have 3 boys and this scares me more than I can describe. I fear that I will be unable to trust anyone. So many parents were fooled by this man.

If you haven't done so, read this article, how he made "poor choices", but not sexual ones. Crazy...

http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/42093067.html

Daniel Acker, the 61-year-old swim coach at the center of child sexual abuse allegations that date back 30 years or more, said in an exclusive interview Sunday at the Milwaukee County Jail that he's made "poor choices" but denied having sexual relations with any boys.

Acker, a longtime swim coach for the West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation Department, said he's struggled with loneliness and self-doubt over the years and sought solace in children who were more accepting of him, something he's felt uncomfortable discussing for decades.

September 2009:

A 62-year-old Milwaukee-area swim coach accused of assaulting boys has pleaded no contest to two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child.

Three counts of child enticement were dismissed Monday in the case against former West Allis swimming coach Daniel Acker...

Investigators claimed Acker molested dozens of boys over a 40-year period, but only filed five charges because the statute of limitations had run on other alleged assaults.

February 2010:

For three decades, former West Allis swim coach Daniel Acker befriended boys from broken homes, gained their trust and sexually assaulted them, according to prosecutors.

Acker admitted having sexual contact with about 20 boys - some as young as 10 - but said it was all consensual because he never used force, and they never said no...

Acker was sentenced to 20 years in prison Friday after pleading no contest to two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child.

A creepy find in Daniel Acker's basement:

In 2009, police investigating the 1976 homicide of John Zera caught a break when a swim coach was arrested on child molestation charges. A search of the man's condo revealed clues about John's case....

Faces stared out from the walls. Tiny LED lights hung over each image, wired to illuminate the macabre museum. Officers recognized some of the images from posters and milk cartons. Missing children. Others had been murdered, including 14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone, a victim of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer

One of the cops picked up a gold Matchbox-size Buick Riviera. On the bottom, in magic marker, were the numbers 13 and 14 and two names.

No. 13 was Carl Galbraith, a Kenosha boy whose throat was slashed in 1977, his killer never caught.

No. 14 was John Zera.

In a dresser in a bedroom closet, more disturbing finds: A photo album and journal focused solely on John.
