The Business Card Photo

It means they are in no way similar to that photo. The fundamental cues are not there.

I guess different people see different things. From the pictures I have seen there appears to be a resemblance. Both girls are very pretty.

I would really like to see a picture of Brittney Slayton beside the picture from the business card. IMO she looks very similar to the girl in the picture.

I see no resemblance whatsoever.

I don't think it's Jaycee at all, never did, but I would like to see the origin of this stock photo. Doesn't anyone else? It worries me to think about who this "somebody else" might really be. I do hope it is just a stock a photo and not of an unknown victim previous to Jaycee....

I have a suspicion that this photo was in a magazine ad campaign done in the mid- to late-1980s, and that PG fantasized about this. He might have even come across this photo (or several by the same model) while in prison and kept them over the years.

I even wonder whether JC was picked because of her resemblance to this photo. But such speculation could never be confirmed outside a specific questioning of PC.

The girl in the business card photo, while resembling Jacycee, has very dark hair and eyebrows. Her hair has been bleached - it's obvious from the roots showing at her part and around her ears. Her natural hair and eyebrows seem to be darker than Jaycee's would have been. I'm sure her hair could have darkened some, but she's a natural blond. If her hair had darkened as she aged and from not having much exposure to the sun, it would have maybe gone a darker blond/brown color, not the dark brown of the roots in the photo.

Also, the face of the girl in the photo seems thinner than one would expect from the previous pictures of Jaycee and the age progressed picture.

I thought from the beginning that the woman's nose looked too different to be Jaycee and maybe even the hairline. The hair did look to be the same texture though. Jaycee's hair in some childhood photos even separated a bit on the ends like this woman's does in the pic. The woman doesn't look well groomed though, so it must be an amateur model, a victim of some sort, or just a random pic someone took.

I think its called the 80s

Agreed. Knowing who is in the photo might help to give a sense of Garrido's psychology . ..

The member Chacha here suggested, I believe, that the photo was more reminiscent of something for a strip club, escort, etc.

Indeed, the face, esp. the nose and eyebrows and ratted out hair resemble some photos of Jenna Jameson.

This is just my opinion....But I honestly don't think the clothing should serve as any sign of the times because more than likely they were hand me downs from somewhere, either from Nancy or maybe a thrift store. I suppose if he was really ambitious he may have gone out there buying her new clothes, but I seriously doubt it. As far as the hair, you can watch any old hair band video on MTV to see that "teased" hair was still going strong into the early 90s.

if it was taken in the late 80's or early 90's its surely not jaycee then.

I don't believe it's Jaycee at all. It was Garrido's fantasy Jaycee.

After reading that the family says the pic is definitely not Jaycee, I was trying to figure out what it might be or where PG got the thing. It reminds me of something a Russian young woman might have put at an online dating site or seeking marriage. I'm probably wrong, but it could explain the hair and not looking quite as well groomed as girls did back in the 80's or 90's.

the fact that he told everybody it was 'alyssa' his daughter is pretty disturbing

:back: The business card picture does not have the clarity of a pure photo-
graph; in my opinion it was touched up in the course of rendering the
picture press-ready, and cheaply executed.
