The 21-year-old mother of a 10-month-old child has been missing for five days now. The only clues detectives have is Rose Goggins' car, which was found completely burnt in the woods.

and

Goggins called the sheriff's department about a year ago on her now-fiance, Steven Beersdorf. He was charged with domestic assault, but the sheriff, who spoke with Beersdorf earlier Tuesday, said he doesn't think Beersdorf had anything to do with this.

Prayers for Rose and her family.

I can't imagine hating someone THAT much to do anything this horrendous. That poor child having to grow up without his mother is bad enough...but he will learn soon enough what monsters his grandparents are makes it even worse.

What nasty souls they are...may they rot UNDER the jail...

O.M.G. I'm so sorry for Rose and her son who will never know his own Mom. :(

Wow....unreal

I did get a "hinky" feel about the way the "grandmother" spoke of Rose..

but wow....so sad. I really feel for this poor little guy too....

JMO the police did a good job here, amazing that they could put together "inconsistent" statements etc, when in Susan Powells case her hubby has tons of inconsistent statements and more...go figure

Poor Rose, poor baby, poor fiance....how hard for him too, that his parents were the killers. This really has me thrown for a loop I must say

so so sad all around....I just cannot figure out how the the 'future in-laws' thought they were gonna get away with this.

Any logic to their thinking would be beyond my comprehension.

Wow, that's incredible. Poor Rose -- rest in peace. And prayers for the baby and the fiance -- triply bereaved, really, losing his parents as well as his partner.

Couple Pleads Not Guilty
WAYNESBORO, TENN. - Dressed in orange jail uniforms with their hands and feet shackled, Steven Ray Beersdorf Sr. and his wife, Sylvia, were escorted into a Wayne County courtroom Tuesday morning where they pleaded not guilty to murder.

Within minutes of making her plea, Sylvia Beersdorf was escorted out of the courtroom, passing a few feet from her husband, who leaned over and mouthed to her, "I love you."

WAYNESBORO, Tenn. - Wayne County Sheriff Ric Wilson said today that forensic experts have determined the remains found on the property of a couple accused of killing the mother of their 10-month-old grandson are in fact those of Rose Goggins,

“When forensic told us the remains were female, our chances were 50-50 that they were Rose Goggins, and I was 99-percent sure, but that 1 percent had me worried,” said Wilson.

Authorities said the DNA testing was conducted by forensic scientists with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Officials said the remains were found on property owned by Steven and Sylvia Beersdorf. The couple are charged with murder.

May justice be served.

The Beersdorfs were arraigned today. Indicted by GJ 10 days ago. Seems they beat her to death. Then burned her. Then dismembered her with a backhoe. Burned again. Dumped the larger parts in the creek.

This story has gotten little to no attention..... why?

Anyways, here's a couple vids:

Good lord - WTH would possess people to do this to the mother of their own grandchild? Or any human, for that matter?
