NG: says the murder committed during the 90 minutes - VDS's return for coffee and when he left for good
JeanC: you have it right
I'd like to know what the two of them were doing during the time from arrival in the hotel room until he went for coffee. This timeline still doesn't make sense to me. :waitasec:

I find it interesting, actually creepy, that Joran uses Natalie's disappearance in his confession of Stephany's murder.

bolded by me....It will not matter that she hit him FIRST...He is NOT BEATEN and BLOODY and his NECK SHATTERED...

It will not matter...that he was under the influence..

WHAT WILL MATTER...HE KILLED ...HER...

well yeah, to you, but to him..."thats my story and i'm sticking to it"

for now

Actually someone posted an article earlier that was suppose to be a transcription of part of the interrogation tape. The officer questioning him says if it happened in response to be provoked he could be looking at five years instead of 35.

Don't know how accurate the article was but it would explain why his story is so focused on he came back and she was going through his stuff and hit him and he *responded*, not that he attacked her unprovoked.

NG: suddenly Aruba says it will start searches for NH's body; I'll believe it when I see it.

she did..but i thought the timeline was

8:15 out for coffee

8:50 something left the hotel?

thats not 90 mins.

IMO...there are parts/times of the survellience that are unaccounted for...the LE are probably not releasing that..

IMO..why the timelines do not add up...We are not getting the whole story..Only what they want the public to know...IMO

NG: reporter in Peru is saying he was wearing the white shirt (exact same clothes he had on when entering the hotel) when he went to get coffee but had changed clothes when he left for good.

OK, now I see how they're getting the timeline but can we please see the video too???? :banghead:

Arrival: ~5:00 AM
Left for Coffee ~ 8:00 AM
Return with coffee: ~ 8:20 AM
Joran's Departure: ~8:40 AM

We have yet to see video of Joran going for coffee

Patty G, I'm confused. NG is saying that Joran left the hotel for good 90 minutes after he came back with the containers of coffee--your timeline shows he left 20 minutes after bringing the coffee to the room.

I think your timeline is correct...and it's what makes me think that he killed her before he got the coffee. Maybe all the information has changed, as usual in this case! ay yi yi.

Yea - why are we getting such conflicting stories? We all saw the article today - IIRC it was before noon.

And then TM himself said he witnessed as phone call that said the Columbian officials were going to Lima.

Now Jean C. is saying - Nope. No 2 girls - no one coming to interview

What's up with all that?

I'm so confused...........................

Pretty standard for American reporters. We have been watching this sort of reporting for the last few days.

NG Show - Joran broke down in tears when he confessed to murdering Stephany!

NG is wrong a lot, so I have learned not to take her facts on point.

I think this is one of the morphing bits of information though. Nancy says he killed her because she knew he killed Natalie. One of the transcribed articles says she saw stuff about Natalie on his computer. It was the anniversary of her death.

I also keeping hearing references to him having stuff about Natalie on his computer. I find it much more likely that he has every article that has ever discussed HIM.

We know Stephany's family was not aware of who he was when they heard his name. No one in the casino seemed to be discussing his infamous status.

I honestly think she didn't have a clue who was and became aware of it while on the computer (on the five year anniversary) and was FLIPPED out when he got back.

Didn't Peru LE say they wouldn't rule out sexual relations. (Relieved JVDS confessed...!!)

Me either. What were they doing for three hours in that little room, if there was no sex? I guess they could have been talking, but they were up all night- weren't they exhausted? I really do think it makes more sense that he killed her before the trip out for coffee.

Well, we are not allowed to talk poorly about Nancy and I will do my best to HOLD BACK. Nancy is just plain WRONG with what she stated about Joran leaving for 90 minutes.

Arrived 5:00 AM
Left ~8:00 AM for coffee
Returned ~8:20 AM with coffee (although no video shows this trip)
Left Room for good: ~8:40 AM
