We now sit and wait and wonder. Many of us have followed this case for nearly 3 years. We all knew that it would eventually come to this moment. The verdict is in the hands of the 12 jurors now. Not all of our questions over the last 3 years have been answered, and probably never will be answered, at least not truthfully.
We must now put our faith in the system we all believe in. Fair or unfair, it is still the best system in the world. It is not a flawless system. The 12 jurors will decide based on the testimonies they have heard, and the evidence they have been given. The task is not an easy one in this case. We will all know in the not too distant future, be it hours or days, what this jury decides. Our system, with all its flaws, does work, and has worked for 200 years. We have watched our laws change dramatically over the years. Our forefathers were brilliant. The prosecution has put forth their case, and the DT has done all they can in defense of Casey Marie Anthony. As is our law, as is our heritage, as is our concern for justice as citizens of this fine country, we now await, and can only ask this final question
WHAT SAY THE JURY?
