Media Interviews with Case Players (SA/DT) ***Merged**

Courts are much like life....

for example...
when it comes to people's intention's, people in general, motives, corporations, companies, children, etc...

my husband always sides with reasonable doubt...and he is right 1 time out of 10

I always go with common sense....and I'm right 9 times out of 10

We've been together 10 years. At this point he just defers to me. He doesn't even try.

MY LORD in heaven! This man was a juror?? I'm so sorry Caylee...

I'm sorry but I can't believe he and the rest of the jury bought into the DT. Logic and common sense went out the window for a quick verdict all based on lies.

These people possess neither logic or common sense. I believe they tuned out and didn't listen to the forensics. There was decomp in the trunk and on the paper towels in the trash showing she tried to clean it up.

Why would she sit in jail for 3 years and possibly face death if it were just an "accident" ??

Where on earth did these people come from???

Also didn't believe a body was ever in the car . . . and bought the pet burial testimony.

Unbelievable. To me it was so obvious that there was a body in the car. And duct tape on Caylee's face. She should have gotten manslaughter at least, for that alone.

When Ryan Widmer was convicted most recently in his 3rd trial, several jurors said his lawyers "did not prove him innocent..."
So I guess it can work both ways.

This man is a teacher. I'm so glad I homeschool.

# 2 ALTERNATE * JUROR RECAP # 3170*- Male, white, 40s

Family:* married three times - 1 son first marriage 23 yrs, two stepchildren
16 yr and 17 yr - wife is a 7th grade Math Teacher - was elementary teacher up until last year
State: No challenges/objections. Defense: No challenges/objections

They not only had the odor of decomp they had the flies in that car!

HHBP should not have disallowed the odor of the cans. He'll have to live with that. mo

These jurors are just beginning their nightmare, when they are faced with the full facts... ugh. :tsktsk:

He said they didn't prove it.

He said he thought the duct tape was from the bag.

He said there was a huge question of why, if GA who is former LE smelled a dead body at the tow yard, didn't he call LE? Why did they take the car home and clean it?
Made him feel that the body had never been in the car. Plus, he couldn't see any decomp stain. Also, one hair didn't convince him she had been in the trunk.

He found GA combative with JB. Said he found the family dysfunctional, which explained ICA's behavior, but that there was no evidence of molestation.

****************

It still makes no sense to me at all! No one would ever make an accident look like murder....that's crazy!

So sad.....

But I can see where if GA smelled death in the car at the tow yard, they would wonder why he didn't call cops right then and there...

COVERED UP WHAT??? That's my thing. If there was something to cover up, shouldn't she at least be held accountable for some portion of that? Someone ended up dead here, and Casey was the person responsible for the person who ended up dead. To WALK on all charges relating to Caylee's death means the jury.got.it.wrong.

Do you think they just went brain-dead? I mean things droned on for a bit and the alternate juror didn't sound too circumspect. When the cloud lifts, they might freak at the miscarriage of justice they took part in.

PS. I love Vinnie for having the guts to be so upset. He basically said the jury was stupid.

He is stepping back a little now, but 30 mins ago he went off.

The state did not have to tell them that. Geez Louise, can we finally require tests for voters and jurors, to make sure they understand simple instructions, concepts and the English language?

I wanted Casey to be found guilty but I had the feeling that this would be the reason she would be found not guilty.

Without knowing HOW SHE DIED they COULDN'T by law convict her of killing Caylee. Look at the jury instructions:

"The death was caused by the criminal act of Casey Marie Anthony".

If they didn't know what the criminal act was they couldn't convict her. They obviously didn't believe the duct tape/chloroform theory so without that there was no proof of a killing only a death.

Have I got a piece of Nigerian farmland...errmmm....bridge to sell him! See there's this prince and he has an inheritance and those monies are tied up and he needs cash and he will split his $1M inheritance if you....

I just saw the same broadcast. He said that he felt GA had 'something to hide', that there was 'no stain in the trunk', that this was an accident, chloroform in trunk was likely cleaning product, the anthonys are 'disfunctional' and that is why there was a cover-up...

Then I had to turn off my tv in disgust

I knew that damn stain was going to be a problem, ditto too to the chloroform as a cleaning product.

The pig in the trunk experiment paid off, hey Baez?

May Casey Anthony never have a moments peace
May she never have another restful night of sleep
May all her committed horrors haunt her every waking moment
May all those be protected from those she'll want to torment

They could not have convicted her of neglect?

The jury convicted Scott Peterson of 1st degree murder and no cause of death was ever established for Laci Peterson. Her body was in the bay for over 4 months. No DNA, only 1 hair found in a pair of pliers in his boat.

So cause of death is not necessary to secure a guilty conviction.

Come on class, let's say it together..."IQ test?"

Shoddy-- didn't even review the evidence, ruled emotionally, set a murderer free, no respect from me. jmo

I can understand that. At least, I can see a reasonable doubt.

Once the got charged with murder, IF it was an accident, do you think she could have said "okay, it was an accident, sorry, let me go home?" At the VERY least, she would be in trouble for illegal disposal of a body. (Why the heck didn't the State charge her with that, by the way?) I doubt the State would go for a plea deal with her insisting it was an accident, not once she was charged with murder, and certainly not once they decided to press for the DP.

Why didn't she just admit it was an accident before? A reasonable doubt is that she's highly immature and has no coping skills and freaked out and it spiraled out of control (unbeknownst to GA and probably CA). I fully believe that she has no idea how to reasonably respond to anything, much less something as traumatic as the death of a child.

I think, depending on where you draw the line on 'reasonable doubt', you can consider this a reasonable doubt.
