Care to elaborate on your comment. So far, she's getting away with a lot more than just the murder of her daughter.

Heck, a judge recuses himself but nobody knows why? She's set to be released on Sunday and will probably vanish probably somewhere in Puerto Rico. We have folks like Tim Miller and his team who put sweat, blood and tears in their search for Caylee and will be left with zero compensation. ZFG whose life was apparently destroyed because of her lies, and she will also not see a penny for the damages Casey caused....

What about the State of Florida? What about the IRS?

She may be able to change her appearance but I think it's still illegal to change your social security # unless you're in witness protection! I'm sure if she "runs" she will be found eventually.. but I understand the frustration!

I couldn't agree more that she has gotten away with a lot more than murder (and I do believe she got away with murder).

I think the effort to stop this deposition is disproportionate to the threat of a payment to Ms. Gonzalez. I believe her claim was for less than $20,000. There is some compelling reason for avoidance of this (and perhaps other) depositions. If, for instance, she pleads self incrimination (which I think is only available to her through Sunday - barring an appeal), probably the damages sought by ZFG will be awarded. In the scheme of things - this is peanuts. I think there are some undercurrents of which we are unaware.

Florida has a law known as the Williams Rule that allows evidence relating to other crimes to be admitted if it helps to show a pattern. Because of the Williams Rule, information regarding the other killings was presented to the jury.

I agree I think she is in deep trouble-
Do you think this is why plastic surgery was recommended to change her looks? I'm not even sure that would help her. I have felt for a long time this might be more than meets the eye.

It's exhausing trying to keep that mane free of knots and mites. And choosing between hot peanuts and jerky...and shouting at Ms. Baker, plastering the smile accross her sociopathic cranium each morning like a Stepford murderer-worst of all, she has to walk to the shower...every other day even!
Oh, the hard life of someone in confinement at a local jail! The women at Chowchilla have nothing to complain about compared to the exhausting life at the OCJ!

WTF? Unable to pay the charges at $20 a month starting in February 2012? How are they thinking they will get away with this one?
