TV Station Pushes for Release of ICA Jailhouse Video

Maybe she was pissed that her father or other disposed of Caylee in such a way.

And yet, she wasn't at ALL pissed when LP searched the pond in Blanchard Park weeks before and thought he'd located human remains...

How would she know that these remains were in fact Caylee's unless SHE disposed of them? Or do you this particular breakdown was just a lucky guess?

I just watched the video and see why it wasn't allowed in. It is incriminating but I see also the spin that could be put on it.

Now I guess People Magazine will report all about how releasing this video was cruel and caused the the narcissist (being prone to manic depressive behavior) to fall deeper into depression.

Cry me a river......

No one will care.
BBM - This is whats get me. It's incriminating so lets not let it in. Lets not give the jury (not that it would have mattered with this jury) all the evidence, facts of the case. It's like our criminal justice system wants all murderers/criminals to have a chance to get off for their crimes. Only "so" much can be allowed in because it's to prejudicial, incriminating, proves guilt. That is BS and why our system is just broken! This should have been allowed in, all evidence should be allowed in, it's evidence, it's the truth.

FCA reacted in the manner in which she reacted because she knew it was little Caylee's body. FCA put her there! She knew the condition of Caylee's body because she put the duct tape over her little mouth. FCA knew there was other evidence directly linking back to the house. The only reason FCA reacted this way, was she is guilty of the murder of Caylee and thought it was over. All about her! Not one tear was for Caylee. IMO

I'm on the fence regarding Baez. I'm leaning towards him knowing Caylee was "gone" and FCA has something to do with it. I think he knew Caylee was dead, just didn't know the condition of the body. I think FCA might have been giving him the details during this video, getting him prepared to cover her arse. Baez was trying to get into the jailhouse to see FCA when the body was discovered, he seemed frantic to see her. That make me believe he knew Caylee was in the woods, near the home. JMO!

Furthermore, I firmly believe CA knew Caylee was thrown in the woods. I think CA thought FCA buried Caylee. CA didn't just pull the "shell" thing out for the Dr. P show, it was planned a long time ago. I believe this is how she coped, in a sick way. IMO, CA sent those PI's out into the woods to remove/move evidence, she either found this out directly from FCA, through Baez and or Lee. I think the ONLY person who didn't know Caylee was in the woods, is George Anthony! Again, JMO!

I took a break after the Dr. P show, then the release of the People magazine article. All this family does is spin, lie, cover up, make up stories! They don't care about the truth, they don't care about justice for Caylee. I don't understand why interviewers bother, why they don't ask the questions to get to the truth, or at least not play into their sick lies! Nobody in the Anthony family deserves one ounce of happiness, EVER! :furious:

I want Karma now. I want justice for little Caylee now. I hope it's slow and I hope it's painful. :twocents:

I have a different take on Baez reactions.

Right about that time Baez was in negotiations to take the death penalty off the table. And the DA was seriously considering it, had even announced they were doing it. Then Caylee's remains were found and it was back on.

I think that Baez's reaction went more along the lines of "Not now". "They won't negotiate away the DP now. " "What do I tell KC to expect, what will be my legal strategy."

Yes his initial response was to "comfort" KC, and also to judge her reaction. I think he may have suffered a bit of shock, but I think it was more along the lines of shock over the timing and the fact that negotiations would break down. But I think right away (about the time he took his jacket off) the topic went to legal strategy. Notice how KC turned to the table away from Baez? I think she is rejecting what he was saying to her. There may also have been some discussion over how she found out what was happening and who saw her response.

I agree. I don't think he cried one tear over Caylee. He knew darn well FCA killed her. It was a 'not now' look and he probably had the mother of all headaches because he knew he was in over his head. This case was his ticket to be the next Geraldo. The discovery of Caylee's remains didn't fit into his plan.

JB treated this case like a circus freak show from the beginning. He was on NG smirking and laughing like he knew a big secret he wasn't going to share. Someone called in and asked the same question I was thinking, why are you smirking when a child is missing. JB wiped his smirk off for about a minute then it was back and stayed there for years.

JB stuck his tongue out at the camera man and played grade school games with FCA during jury selection. He got a good laugh over FCA shooting him the bird. He never took Caylee's death seriously.

Little did he know he'd get the Pinellas 12.

IMO

KC gave up her rights to be pissed at anyone after the OS by JB. The defense never did proved GA had anything to do with Caylee's death much less disposal of her remains. I think the truth is slowly coming to the surface and we will figure out exactly what happened. It's just a matter of time. Every day we get closer and closer to the truth. If KC is truly in therapy it's because she knows everything is about to be exposed and her handlers have had about enough of her hissy fits. jmo

The DP was already off the table when the remains were found, there were no negotiations taking place.

Dec 5, 2008 the State announced it will not seek the Death Penalty
Dec 11, 2008 skeletal remains found and LE obtains search warrant for Anthony home
Dec 19 2008 ME confirms remains belong to Caylee Anthony
April 14, 2009 The State seeks imposition of the Death Penalty

The video that was released was about 15 mins in length, correct?
Part 1 in the waiting room of the medical clinic
Part 2 in another room to meet with her lawyer, Baez

There must have been quite a bit of editing and cutting things out because Sgt Billy Richardson who escorted Casey from her cell to the waiting room of the medical facility stated in his depo (Page 73) he was there with her for 30-45 Mins before he escorted Casey back to her cell..

They had announced they were taking the DP off the table yes. But I think (and this is just my opinion) that they were either still in negotiation over something. Either removal of the DP was dependent on KC giving up the location of the body or that a plea deal was in the works, and they were negotiating on the sentence. Either way I don't think the paperwork had been signed yet.

No hearing had been scheduled to change the capital murder charge to another charge without the DP at the time that Caylee was found.

There was only 1 plea of limited immunity offered early on before the indictment in October 2008
In August 2008 a Plea of Limited Immunity was offered to Casey with the condition of Casey giving truthful information leading to the whereabouts of Caylee. The deadline for that plea was Sept 2, 2008 and Baez and Casey never responded to the State Attorney's office

I don't believe a court hearing was necessary to remove the death penalty from the capital charges..
A Notice was filed with the court on Dec 5 2008 Waiving their intent to seek the death penalty.

In a release about the decision, the State Attorney's Office wrote: "This afternoon, after consideration of the law and unique facts applicable to the above case, the State filed its notice that it is not in the best interest of the people of the State of Florida to pursue the death penalty as a potential sentence. Therefore, the State of Florida will not be seeking the death penalty against defendant Casey Anthony.
"If something were to change, for instance if Caylee's body were to be found before the case goes to trial, prosecutors could change their minds and decide to go for the death penalty.

I will look for the link for the Notice the SAO filed on Dec 5 2008 seeking to remove the death penalty..I remember reading it long ago.

This link is the Notice of Intent to Seek the Death Penalty April 13, 2009 and in this letter it state Dec 5 as the date they filed the waiver to seek the death penalty

After all the bedwetting about FCA's safety it looks like she is doing just fine even after this tape was released. It is so mind-bendingly obvious she is guilty, it's just infuriating.

BBM. Evidence is NEVER excluded because it is incriminatory. Never. And, in fact, the videos were not excluded from evidence in this case. HHJS ruled that they could not be released to the public before trial, but neither judge ever ruled that they could not be used at trial. The prosecution chose not to offer the videos into evidence, probably because they would have been useless as evidence of anything.

I can't agree with this. I'm sure it's happened a few times without neglect charges.
If a parent, babysitter, whatever thinks the child is sound asleep behind a closed bedroom door, & this child happened to get out & fall into a pool & drown while the care giver was in the bathroom, only to be discovered missing a few hours later, it is an accident, not neglect. IMO

May I add, a parent would never assume their child was dead that quickly unless they were decapitated ,and even then I know a mom who tried to put her son's head back on when he was backed over in their driveway.

A parent who loved their child would work til the adrenaline ran out and still continue to try and save their child. The neglect would be not even trying.

My husband has been catching snippets of the testimony in the MJ trial. It brings back harsh memories of the day he tried so hard to save our son. I asked him if he ever thought, at the time ,that James was already past helping. He did,but held out hope, even telling me on the phone later that he thought James had pinked up from the cpr.
In this day and age there is no way I believe a parent would pull their child out of a pool and say,he/she's dead. Hide the body. Not even a smidgen of reasonable doubt.

I agree because Lord knows we've seen plenty of evidence of her pathetic acting ability. IMO, that's all this is. She knew Caylee was dead and she knew her body would be found - it's not like she buried her. She was likely practicing this reaction for seven months. Boring.

If only we could have been flies on that wall when JB was talking to KC

I don't believe they taped her when she was in the room with the doctor. I never saw a nurse come in to give FCA a sedative, that was suppose to be about in the middle of her and JB's meeting.

She's old news to the media...they are all stuck to CM trial like glue. I wonder if FCA was angry when they wouldn't interrupt programing for an important announcement.....:floorlaugh:

Huh? Oh, you think she believes her own lies? I think that happens, but not here - pure acting.
