Three decades is 30 years (about the time of the divorce), not three generations.

It occurs to me that he will be 62 in a couple months. I suspect that he is eligible for retirement from his state job, and will be eligible to start collecting SS benefits at that time as well. He probably also has retirement funds from private sector work since he has only had this state job a few years. I bet he is taking money out of his retirement funds to pay his attorney. And his SS bennies and state retirement bennies will keep the mortgage paid. Heck, he might even be able to come up with enough for bail!

Well, in your defense, his father probably did look at *advertiser censored* and showed it to Steven. It sounds like his father didn't like/respect women any more than Steve does!

That seems mighty soon? I know nothing about Washington criminal law, but that's like three months from arrest to trial. Maybe it's just a control date. But I'm inclined to think they set a fast trial date to scare the old perv, hoping he'd sing.

So they are getting the discovery.... I almost wish I could see that... and then I don't. :sick:

The next hearing is supposed to be October 27th which is Thursday at 1:30pm.

The Jury Trial is still scheduled for November 16th...
(Though I am sure it will change, since they had only gone through part of the pictures. Unless they intend to try him multiple times.)

Right after Josh Powell is in court for custody on November 15th.
I certainly hope they make a decision on whether to charge Josh (in his father's case, not Susan's) by the November 15th custody hearing. :waitasec:

A badly decomposed body was found Monday afternoon in brush along Airport Road in south Everett, officials said.

The body was found about 2 p.m. by some workers who were trimming brush between Beverly Park Road and 112th Street SW, Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.

It appears the body had been there for months, Hover said. It wasn't immediately clear if it was a man or woman, or how the person died.

Detectives on Monday weren't aware of any missing person cases that might be connected, Hover said.

Everett is about 45-50 miles from Puyallup. It is not on the route from Utah to Puyallup. Everett is north of Puyallup.
