is it disrespectful to kara to wear LI shirts to this event?

IMO it is highly disrespectful to Kara! It wasn't about Lisa, it was about Kara. DB would have a fit if Kara's parents would have shown up at a vigil for Lisa wearing a KK shirt!

I wouldn't think that it was disrespectful to wear shirts of a missing loved one to another persons vigil...if it weren't for the fact that THESE TWO ARE GUILTY!!!!

They could get local media attention in an instant. They wouldn't even need a development. Just Baby Lisa's parents want to talk...

Kara's mother attended Lisa's one year vigil wearing Kara's missing shirt. Here is a photo. Carol Thompson's (recently found deceased :( ) sister is also in the photo.

Just saying. There was also a new tab added today on Lisa's website dedicated to other missing persons.

Well, I've always known they have absolutely NO CLASS!

How horrible and disrespectful to this family to have these two show up with BL shirts.

I want to say more, but I just better do this:

:puke:

I personally think its fine to wear a shirt of your missing loved one to another missing persons vigil. However, I think it is another slap in the face to Lisa's memory because these parents known good and well where that baby is...or was...

I stand corrected. Well at least this explains why they showed up at Kara's vigil.

Gee, how very disrespectful of the parents of a missing child to show up at a vigil for another person, especially to dare to show support to another family that apparently showed support to them. And the nerve of them wearing a shirt that shows their own missing child.

The unmitigated gall

:banghead:

I wonder if they are ever going to do anything to get their own daughter's name out there, other than posting on the internet? I couldn't believe the local news was so desperate to do a story about Lisa that they made her parents the headline in a story about another missing person!!!

I can't help but to wonder why I never see "donate" stuff on other missing children websites. :banghead: The article I posted by our local news station convinced me even more of what I already knew: the local news would do stories on Lisa in a heartbeat, IF the parents actually came forward & asked/offered. Free "awareness", no Visa,Mastercard, etc needed.
MOO

The first missing child website I checked was the one for Dylan Redwine. His site has two "donate " buttons on the front page. I'm sure that if I looked further, there would be more sites that are the same.

I thought I had replied to this previously, but as stated in a post above about Lisa's site, this site also accepts major credit cards, I'm sure many do. :banghead:

is the lisa irwin hope fund a registered not for profit? the website does not stipulate this (maybe i missed it?) like dylan's does... as well when i searched "dylan redwine non profit" the first hit was to his website which includes the EIN # required of a non profit... i received no similar hit for lisa's site...

FOX 4 News talked with the woman who established the account for the Lisa Irwin Hope Foundation. She is Kathleen Costas, a cousin of Lisa’s mother, Deborah Bradley. Costas, who lives in Florida, says the account is a special taxable fund established through Wells Fargo. Costas oversees all spending from the account.

ok-- so, it's not a non profit like Dylan's? thanks for clarifying. can you now explain what "special taxable fund" means? maybe a link to a descriptor of this info on the WF website? and, more importantly, what and where is the proof that the funds are only used to "look" for lisa? "costas oversees all spending" and her declaration doesn't really verify anything, does it?
