I know that this was Toronto Homicide but is it not strange that no mention has been made regarding the theft of the Harley? Is no one being charged for this? At bare minimum Millard should be facing something for this as it was in his property? (possession being 9/10ths of the law)

Now that they have not found LB she is most likely still alive! I hope so! This can't make me wonder if she's the 3 rd suspect!!

I don't think we can infer whether she is alive or dead, only that they can't find her. Given that she was last seen on June 26, 2012 well before any heat was on DM, anything is possible. We now know she used drugs, was in the sex trade industry and an internet escort, all of which come with significant risks.

Now we wait a few days to give LE a chance to catch up with the information media gave to them today during the pc, then LE will give another pc to confirm what info was given to them today by media. LOL

Probably not. I doubt she is still hanging around Toronto and the surrounding areas without someone recognizing her. IMO Don't forget she has been missing for almost a year.

Yes, to be fair I don't feel good about criticizing LE.

However, I'm mostly a newb to this stuff, and the few cases I've really actively followed involved LE that talked to the public about what was going on (when it didn't impact their investigation), and were solved pretty fast. (Jessica Ridgeway, Whitney Heichel.) My expectations are probably skewed.

I had previously heard it but it wasn't confirmed anywhere just people suggesting it on her social media page

They maybe are still combing through the evidence to see exactly what and how many of the vehicles/items in the hanger were actually stolen. Maybe trying to track down rightful owners? Maybe once that is sorted out we will hear more on charges regarding stolen property. Or maybe we will have to wait until next court date to see if further charges are added.

I just mentioned something similar in Laura's thread, but yeah.

The crap attitude of that guy (who was clearly annoyed with people asking questions) plus his cluelessness about DM's *advertiser censored* photo shoot on Suicide Girls just gave me an overwhelming sense of hopelessness about this case.

I felt that when I saw their field investigation as well. Looked like they were just going thru the motions. Compared to the efforts and communication from HPS, quite a contrast.
