IMO, the LMN movie was okay as far as one on that network could be. They are the type of movies to capture the personal side (sex and relationship) NOT the criminal planning and stuff. If it had been reversed with Travis committing the crimes against Jodi, LMN would have had no problem giving all the details of the premeditation. That's just what kind of network LMN is.

I've always said the story would have been better handled on HBO or Showtime. Somewhere they were not pandering to a certain audience, but could give less confused reference to how detailed Jodi was to plan and commit the crime.

Overall, the actress who played Jodi did a good job. It was obvious the last few minutes were just tacked on, because unless you followed the case closely, there is no way to understand the license thing and stuff like the briefly mentioned gas cans. Frankly, I STILL don't understand the license plate thing.

That scene where Jodi was sitting in the cell after the trial 'talking to Travis' was very eerie. Certainly captured the Jodi psychosis.

I have been thinking about Kiefer's tweet also. The JA trial has attracted trial groupies. I just don't see anything wrong with labeling a person a groupie. There were women that attended the trial that came from other states. I would call them a groupies. Giving presents to attorneys, I think a groupy might do that. Goes beyond trial watcher IMO.

Trutv is a laugh and HLN is repeats and reruns half the time plus 50 thou. commercials that switch so fast you cant tell the product. I look for one to go. CNN seems safe. Agree with you. I sense HLN is having financial difficulties with all the salaries, and the fact that Vinnie often says something like be back in a few we have bills to pay. TruTV has nothing to offer to me. :seeya:

HLN would never let go of Nancy, Jane, Drew, etc. due to large fan base and ratings. imo :seeya:

We had an awesome time on the boat! My daughter loved it & she even went tubing! Needless to say I was a nervous wreck those short few minutes she was on the tube, but she did great!

I took lots of cute pics & some video w/ my iPhone. So glad we all enjoyed a fun family day out on the water... It was much needed!

ETA - I should totally be sleeping after our day in the sun, but of course I had to watch the JA movie that I DVR'd. I wanted to see how Lifetime would portray them & my curiosity got the best of me.

If you're enthused to LMN's consistent "Base on a True Story", straight out of the rear end of a bull, dramas, this movie will NOT disappoint you!

Filmed entirely in some nameless "burb", no doubt in California, you are suggestively "taken" to such locals as Las Vegas, Desert Palms, and Mesa, but if you don't hear one of the "actors" mention it, you will be lost without a GPS, or should I say, sucked into the GBS, (general bull s***) of this "movie".

IMO the movie was terrible. The acting was horrible. Although they threw in many things/phrases from the trial, < Jodi's bs>, 3 hole wonder, prostitute, used toilet paper, among others things, it was just thrown together. And I understand they use creative license to dramatize a movie, based on a true story, there is no proof Jodi ever danced in a lingerie outfit for Travis. That was just silly. I have watched many, many Lifetime movies, and really like them for the most part.

The only part of the movie that was too close to the actual events, was the murder scene. The couple minutes it lasted, my mind put the real Travis in the scene and experienced what he did. Actually it was too realistic.:tears: It really emotionally shook me up.RIP Travis

Aside from that, what's wrong with Twitter that it permits anyone to tweet using the name of convicted murderers? The ptb need to step up to the plate and start deleting accounts of all convicts.

I think they're already working on Jodi's plea because in the video at the latest court appearance you can just barely hear Arias talking to her Mitigation Specialist Maria Delarosa & Jodi is complaining about a "word" so there must be some verbiage she doesn't like.
