I personally do not think the cab guy has anything to do with her disappearance.

What will be interesting is to know where she pinged from during that last call. If she was truly a minute away, it should be the same cell tower he called from assuming he called her when he was arriving at the AM/PM.....but if it were a different tower, that would be telling. Was she still at her apt? Who was she with? Why was she so delayed if she initially requested the cab at 4:23? If she thought it would be there in 20 minutes, why was she not on AM/PM surveillance around 4:45? I doubt she was just wandering around by herself, she was with someone or at her apartment still. I am definitely starting to focus on someone at the party or the bf. Just my best guess at this point.

Well, this is odd.

I wonder - did it say anywhere that the first trip to the boyfriends house was in his car?

Basically thinking, if they were fighting and she got out of the car near her house, what did he do? Did he just turn around and go straight home again? Or perhaps did he also go to her apartment, they carry on the fight, and decide to go back to his again for whatever reason - that's the sort of nutty business I got up to at nineteen for sure.

But so then she packs up her stuff and they both get in her car (which is plausible if they were in her car the first trip, I guess less so if they were in his), and then have the crash.

Just, I'm wondering if with the rumours of two people in the car, that was the pair of them. Then after the crash, perhaps he splits, I can imagine that, he's fed up, and she goes looking for him - hence all the calls, and why she might be wandering around. Eventually she gives up and assumes he'll be heading home at some point so texts to say she's going to his, calls a cab.

I'm really just running this on 'ways I behaved at nineteen'. The question then, I guess, is who she ran into after she called the cab.

All absolute IMHO and a theoretical HO at that.

Why would he call her back so fast??

Maybe when she called cabbie to say she was right around the corner, she really was speaking to him and was around the corner. Perhaps he could tell she was emotional and inebriated and wanted to just make sure she was still showing? Didn't want to lose the fare to what he seemingly thought was just another inebriated college aged female?

she could have been abducted at this moment by abductor (right after hanging up phone call with cabbie)...abductor turns off her phone.

Cabbie now is confused as she had just said she was almost at AmPM, but he clearly could see she was not standing there.

The cabbie, calls back to make sure she's there and is heading to the right location (again he's assuming shes inebriated and confused), but cavbie gets her VM?

All speculation. IMHO.

If her wallet was left at home, she wouldn't have noticed it missing until getting to her bf's house and looking for her wallet to pay for cab ride. IMO.

Maybe someone saw the wreck and that she was upset and asked if she were ok.

Maybe this seemingly good Samaritan on the treacherous rd she wrecked on was not a good Samaritan at all.

Maybe he offered to help move her car to a safer location/off parkway and give her a lift to the AMPM after?

(Has George's (suspect in June 15 killing Barakzai) car been searched? Did Barakzai have a car that George could have used to abduct Adrienne that police could search ... Just to see?)

I have a bad feeling.

IMO

Plus why would Adrienne tell the cabbie if she were getting a ride from her car to AMPM?

If its true her car was moved after the wreck, perhaps the "good Samaritan" offered to help her get her car off the curb onto a safer neighborhood street. After she locked the doors and thanked the "good Samaritan" he offered to just give her a ride over to AMPM.

She figured since he helped her figure out how to move her car, he was trustworthy and so she took him up on the offer.

He takes his chance near the AMPM when she gets off the phone with cabbie to abduct her and turn off her phone
??

Theory - IMO

Okay I will have to postpone my sleuthing til tomorrow cause it was so hot i almost died commuting from work. But I did veer off into the general area of where she was and I was overcome by a sadness the depths I've only felt when I lost really close relatives/friends. This case has officially become an emotionally invested one for me, I'm practically tearing up typing this. I pray something comes to light soon and her family can have some closure.

*hugs* I know. I'm reeling from the news that Dylan Redwine's body was found, it was announced yesterday. I haven't gotten dressed in two days now, but I finally stopped crying. At least for now. :anguish: :(

Sometimes cases come along that speak to us, reach out to us or touch us in some way and we become emotionally invested in them. It means we care, we are human and we are compassionate people. I've learned it comes with the territory. The people here are so dedicated to finding missing people or seeking justice for those who didn't get any. We put our hearts into our quest. We ARE making a difference.

Your compassion is so appreciated in this world that often times feels hopelessly broken. ((((((Autonomik)))))))

"Simon said they have searched his son's home, and Friday police took a DNA sample. Tempe police have not named the cab driver as a person of interest or suspect."

http://www.kpho.com/story/22709539/cab-company-owner-retraces-calls-with-missing-teen

How long did the cab driver wait around for her? How many additional times did he try to get through after the phone went to voicemail? Did he have another run after AS?

It sounds to me like the cab driver, being innocent, gave LE permission to search his home and to take DNA to quickly eliminate himself.

I wonder how many of the party goers gave DNA.

Why didnt she want to be picked up at her house? This detail is a bit of a sticking point for me. I understand the AMPM is less than 1/4 mile from her house. Was there someone or something at the house she was trying to avoid? Why did she leave the comfort of her home to walk that extra distance after the night she had? Why not let the cabbie pick you up at home? If she needed cigs or something, the cabbie could stop.

I want to add to your great timeline that the call came in for a cab at 4;23. From the article it also states that the closest driver was 20 mins away.

You get the call. In this case it came in at 4:23, and the closest driver was about 20 minutes away," said Thomas Simon, owner of Scottsdale Cab Guy. He said the driver was his son, Tom.

http://www.kpho.com/story/22709539/cab-company-owner-retraces-calls-with-missing-teen

So, the driver could have been to the store AMPM by 4;43 or so... it is apparently approx another 20 mins before contact was made? Did he sit at the AMPM waiting for her?

ETA
Simon said his son called Salinas at 5:04 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. to make sure she was headed to the gas station. He said at 5:06 a.m., Salinas called his son, saying she'd be there in a minute. Then he called Salinas at 5:07 a.m. looking for her, but the phone went to voicemail.

I just don't even know what I think anymore. I guess I am not so good at sleuthing, but I am compassionate, and I Imagine that's what brings a lot of us here...

There have been many logical suggestions here, and I bet that one or a combination of several will be the key to finding out what happened to Adrienne. I think a lot about what could have happened and where she might be. And I still hope that LE knows more than has been released.

It has been too long that Adrienne has been missing. Something's got to give.

I have become so cynical and pessimistic, after cases like Lauren's and Kortne's, where it seems almost certain that her "friends" know more than they will say. In both of those cases, it seemed unimaginable that both girls would not turn up in a day or two. And here we are counting years in Lauren's case, and approaching the one-year anniversary for Kortne. Apparently no one is talking. JMO

mamacita, thank you!! for your incredibly helpful timeline and the tireless updating of it!

I declare you the official Master of the Timeline! :) You should do that in all threads.

I agree! and how about those folks who can make maps? Between mamcita's timeline and some of the awesome maps I have seen people compile here, it's no wonder good things happen here and things do shake loose sometimes!

I have scrolled back to that timeline repeatedly over and over - great resource for us!

Hello, I have joined Web Sleuths just so that I could post here on this terrific forum. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona, and have a great interest in what has happened to Adrienne. I have been reading your posts for several days now and am very impressed with the theories and timelines you have developed.

To begin with, her disappearance has affected me in a very big way. There is something about her that makes one want so badly for her to be found, for her to be safe. Like most of you I am baffled by the many discrepancies in reporting and have sought my own information from social media. The day she was reported missing I looked on Facebook and other media sites to see if her accounts might have any clues. Facebook wasn't much help....but I did find it strange that she changed her cover photo only a few days before she went missing. And it was a somewhat dreary photo and she hadn't posted in over a month until she just suddenly changed her photo. I found that strange until I looked at her Instagram account.

I think that Instagram is very revealing and often a good insight into what someone is thinking. Her most recent posts led me to belief she was very distressed and perhaps even depressed. Has anyone here considered the possibility that Adrienne might have actually run away?

She was in Rocky Point, Mexico, only a few weeks ago and seemed to really enjoy it and didn't really want to leave. In one of her posts she comments to a friend to 'take her back'...not the exact words, but similar.

Her photos of herself begin to look sadder and sadder and it appears she is reaching out to someone to see how unhappy she is. She seems to relate to tragic figures, such as Gatsby (in the movie) and Sateen in the movie Moulin Rouge. She seems obsessed with her love life, which appeared to be on the rocks.

In another post she comments the words of the song "Too Close" ending with something to the effect of 'so I'll be on my way'. It seemed almost prophetic.

The guy they are referring to as her boyfriend I have a hunch should really be referred to as her ex boyfriend. I don't think they were really together. Maybe Adrienne wanted to be and he shoved her away. Whatever the case I think that there is a possibility she may have just reached the end of her rope and perhaps she just wanted to get away, for maybe just one day, for just one weekend. And now she might be down in Mexico and she could be afraid to come home now.

I realize this may seem like a far fetched theory but I think it might merit more investigation. I don't know if this is totally correct but I read somewhere that more than 73 percent of all missing persons were actually runaways.

Has anyone else studied her Instagram account? I would be very interested in knowing your thoughts if you have.

Thanks for all your great theories.

~ Miss D

None of the quoted makes sense. Study it carefully. There is no way Adrienne was at Brown and Roosevelt at 5am and called the cab guy at 5:06 saying she'd be at Hardy and University 'in a minute'. Heck, if she were at Brown and Roosevelt at 4:30 there would be no reason for her to be if she left her apartment at 3 or 3:30. And then a) why go back to her car and b) why choose the AMPM from there? It's a 15-20 minute walk in the wrong direction (away from her apt and her boyfriend's joint).

This is just mind boggling. There is no way that this adds up with the information that we have. Virtually none of it works, even if we were to try to adjust some of the times.
