Picking up the tab for hundreds of coffees at Tim Hortons has become a Canadian trend this week.

After an anonymous Good Samaritan in Edmonton threw down cash for 500 coffees last week, the pay-it-forward gesture has caught on Calgary, Chestermere, Red Deer, and High River, Alta., as well as Ottawa and London, Ont.

I had read about the 'suspended coffee' movement, but this takes it to another level.

It sounds like a terrific place to live!

Hey Otto, aren't YOU from Alberta?? :waitasec:

All I know is that I used to pay the odd extra coffee for someone behind me in line and now I'm a slouch!! Thanks a lot!
