I am not sure where to put this, but did not see it elsewhere...

An 18-year-old woman’s body was discovered in Miami on Saturday morning and detectives fear a child connected to the case may be missing.

Witnesses, according to authorities, saw a commercial truck travelling eastbound on S.W. 288th Street and as it made a left turn at Southwest 144th, what appeared to be a body fell from the passenger side of the truck.

The suspect apparently stopped the truck, placed the body back inside, and continued northbound on Southwest 144th Avenue, according to investigators as told by witnesses.

Witnesses lost sight of the truck after that.

When officers responded to the area, they discovered the 18-year-old’s body in a construction site, according to Miami-Dade Police Department’s Homicide Bureau.

Police Looking for Truck Driver After Body Found in SW Miami-Dade:
MDPD Police are looking for a truck driver who may have left a woman's body at a construction site and driven off with a child, officials said.

Witnesses told investigators they also saw what appeared to be a 2 or 3-year-old child in the truck when it drove off, police said.

"She saw the body fall from the car and the guy went around and put her back in the car rapidly," said Laura Ortiz, describing what a neighbor saw.

The suspect is described by MDPD as a white male in his 30s, 5’9” black hair wearing a dark colored t-shirt with jeans.

How horrible...I hope they find him before he does something awful to the child!

So if they know she is 18 they should know if it's her child.
It's entirely possible this person brought along a non verbal child for a body dump.

Was the child in a car seat?
If the child was in a car seat odds are better it's the driver's child.

I'm not good at this stuff, has anyone been able to cross reference it with missing people yet?

Witnesses also told police there may have been a toddler in the truck when the driver took off, police said. Officials confirmed the toddler did not belong to the victim.
There's a video at the link of the victim's father. He says Tiffany knew the man, and was with him on Friday. The man is in his 30's and has a toddler daughter.

Okay, so odds are in the child's favor.
If it was the victim's child that would be different.
Hopefully he will surrender.

Police said Tuesday that a toddler that was seen in the truck by witnesses has been located, is safe and is with family.

That article you posted says the child was found safe.

A man who killed an 18-year-old Homestead woman with a rope around her neck and a bag over her head after smoking crack will be spending 25 years in prison as part of a plea deal reached with prosecutors.

Fernando Granados, 24, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the September 2013 killing of Tiffany Cabreja at a hearing Friday.

"Justice has been served today and I'm happy," Cabreja's mother, Miriam Vasquez, said after the hearing. "This has been a long case, four and a half years and today he pleads guilty.”
