The fact namus lists Sammie Davis as his possible name gave me the impression that they were in the process of identifying him but now I realize maybe they got the possible name from the items found with the remains and it would be better to contact the authorities as you suggested

Probably just a coincidence but I googled "rainbow brand" to see if I could find something of interest and this popped up : Albainox

I tried googling "sammie davis missing" but without much hope and it was one of the first results. The glasses found with the remains look similar to the ones he wears on the pictures. Let's hope he is ID'd soon and his family and friends finally get closure.
