An article in the Columbus Dispatch stated that she had the knives with her in the gas station's convenience store. So was she just hanging around the BP station for two hours with her kitchen knives? The article also quoted a police officer saying that her behavior in the store was unusual. I...
Update on Sheriff's facebook page:
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office
The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the disappearance of 62-year-old Nancy Woodrum of rural Paso Robles. Detectives are currently seeking information on an item that may be associated with Nancy Woodrum's...
One more thing--the dog in this recent case was found safe in a shelter in California. I can't remember now--were any of Lori's dogs missing? Or could they not determine that?

I made this connection as well--although they are separated by a year, they're so close geographically. The victim in this recent case was an avid hunter while the man arrested for his murder was very politically outspoken in regards to animal rights, including puppy mills...
It looks like the victim, Matt Schoshke, was an avid hunter, while Colson was definitely against the abuse of animals in various forms, including certain types of hunting. I'm wondering if it's possible that this was a *politically* motivated crime?! Maybe Colson got angry about the 'Eat Beef'...
I'm curious too! My first impression of Colson's facebook page was that it seems so at odds with his criminal behavior. So I dug a bit; he has a prior for domestic assault from Feb. 2016. Here's a link to the police report in the local paper (scroll down.)...
Sadly, she's been found dead.

It seems significant that the stepson is described as having provided 'credible information' to the police about the family conflict. I think that term 'credible' is a rebuttal to the public's assumption that the police would simply write off the claims of someone who appears to be an...
I think from the moment KR heard from her stepson, she started panicking. If believed, his accusations are explosive and would ruin both her and Borce's reputation and make them social pariahs. So they're scrambling because AR is in a bad place and threatening to go to the police or go...
It's hard for me to believe that in AR's current emotional state, and with his desperate need to talk, that a halfway decent interrogator wouldn't be able to get the location of her body out of him if he had killed her.
