Did they say to watch for someone with cuts on their face? Do they know Somer fought back? If so, does that rule out everyone they have interviewed so far??? Or do they already know who did this, but want them to feel confident that they are not a suspect, so they slip up??

Mom has every right to use the words monster and him...but the way she says things, what she doesn't say, her emotions, etc...just raises a flag for me! the comment about not getting any or something to that affect is at the end of the grief, anger, determination video...

That is what I am starting to think. I know it was mentioned that she was sick and didn't want to go to school that day, gets in fight, hits child with backpack..I would say something was bothering her. Perhaps something that happened over the weekend????

What do we know about the fight at school? Who did she hit with the backpack? Guess I'm wondering if it was normal behavior for Somer to fight or was she angry or upset about something and acting out.

A family member makes sense to me. I was reading something on another board about how that area was full of traffic around that time of day. I do feel that Somer knew her attacker. That would also explain the statements by LE, John Walsh, etc. Maybe they want the family to feel confident...
