    Explosion Boston Marathon #2

I hate to be flip about potentially innocent bystanders, but if I had to put money on how this case turns out, the bombers are the blue jacket/white hat guys with the gym bag and bulging backpack that goes missing, standing at ground zero. Evidence is circumstantial but looking increasingly...

Wow. They should mention in the article that the battery shown is sold in a 6 or 7 cell pack (which you can see that the casing is partially still attached to the wires). As soon as I saw this battery pack, I was convinced an R/C car was used as the trigger. I used to tinker with electronics as...

Wow. THIS. As much as I hate to speculate about potentially innocent bystanders, his positioning makes sense and he matches the description. It will be very interesting to see when the person of interest matches anyone that has been discussed on these forums when he a photo is released.

The circuit board fragments shown in the photos show components far too big to be from cell phones, and are almost certainly from an R/C toy. Everything inside a cell phone is super miniaturized.

Your post made me realize the bombs were triggered with the parts from a hobby R/C car. When I looked at the bomb component photos released by the FBI and I discovered that the circuit remnants are not from timers, but from the wireless receiver and motor speed control boards of a remote control...
