TX TX - Lucero Sarabia, 21, pregnant, San Antonio, 26 Nov 2004

The 15th anniversary of Lucero's disappearance has arrived. What happened to her? This audio podcast (an interview with Anthony who does the crime blog Crime Blogger 1983 Here is his blog for Lucero: Missing Princess- Where is Lucero Sarabia? ) has information not shared in news articles or...

CA CA - Barbara Thomas, 69, from Bullhead City AZ, disappeared in Mojave desert, 12 July 2019 #7

I believe the parking lot is the Providence Mountains State Recreation Area. If you look it up on Google, and look at the photos around there, or just zoom in,you'll see images of the square parking lot (sorry my tech skills are not good enough to post the photos I found, maybe someone else...

Wow. Well said. Thank you for sharing your experience and clarifying the long-term impacts of the child welfare system and trauma. Also thank you for explaining how/why this information is not meant to clear the Hart women of responsibility, or to blame the children.

Yes. Thank you for clearly saying what I have been thinking, and trying to say very poorly!! As an educator, I see daily the long-term effects of trauma. Our community is doing a full-court press on trauma, trying to eliminate many causes of trauma to stop it from happening in the first...

FYI there are currently 12 sibling groups (African-American ancestry) up for adoption in the Houston area alone. Just in case the Hart children inspire anyone to get involved. Reading their very short bios is just heartbreaking. "We are loving brothers who are very attached to each other...

This is not why I was discussing the matter. Adverse Childhood Experiences create trauma. Attachment issues create real struggles for kids. Reactive Attachment Disorder is real and is overwhelming. I work in the school system, and ACEs and Trauma/Resilience are two main areas of my work. I...

bbm at risk of going far off topic, this is a very loaded subject. Who in our society has the highest rates of poverty, homelessness, and unemployment/underemployment? Who is still suffering the monstrous economic impacts of slavery? Who is still heavily impacted by prejudice, racism, and...

Yes yes yes. This New Yorker story was eye-opening about that. If parents could get more support, to keep them from going homeless or jobless in the first place.... https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/08/07/when-should-a-child-be-taken-from-his-parents

I appreciate your perspective, and this mirrors some of my thoughts. MOST people would struggle to keep on an even keel, with adopting 6 high-trauma children. Not saying MOST people would become abusers. This was a huge under-taking, and I find it devastating that our adoption and child...

More information about the flyer, and about the original discovery of the children's bodies. Two were on the rocks, and one was partially submerged in the water, which is why they are leaning towards all six being in the vehicle and likely in the ocean...

The missing/endangered flyer really brought home to me the loss. Seeing the three children who are unaccounted for, traced in red, and realizing that the other three are no longer alive. Really hit home. Such a sad horrific tragedy for them to miss out on their lives. :(

I don't believe anyone has verified this. The neighbors shared several versions of what happened (or the media shared several interpretations of what the neighbors said. I have no idea what is true). According to various accounts, Either they all piled into the suv immediately after Sarah got...

Agreed! I have been really frustrated by how the DeKalb (Woodland neighbors) stories have been reported different every time. (i.e. the girl who visited their house, in one report she opened the door and appeared in their bedroom, another she knocked. In one it was last spring, in another it...
