TX TX - Jason Landry, 21, enroute from TSU to home, car found crashed at Luling, 14 Dec 2020 #5

I had wondered about this, too, but there is a Bucees very nearby and they are so perfect for stops. I thought maybe that was his intention. My college kids love stopping there.

Like I said, I don't usually follow these things, so my ideas may be terribly off base.

Oh I certainly don't want the family harassed. I just mean that everything has stopped. To compare (and maybe it isn't a fair comparison), Ariel Castro (the man in Cleveland OH who held women hostage for years) was found out just a month before this happened with Alanna. His trial was already...

August 8th is the last news article that I can find. A month and a week ago. I have said before that I have never watched a case like this, but I am having such a hard time imagining that there is no news at all. Just like it is forgotten. I am sure law enforcement hasn't forgotten, and I know...

I so agree with you on this. I think some people are just "problem avoiders" (certainly not saying that she would have thought THIS would happen). I have known Bob since I was a teen and his mom ignored EVERY problem and he and his sister had many. Mom had a very rough childhood and "made good"...

Oh I agree w you that he isn't a bright bulb and couldn't possibly hanging out with a bunch of mensa members. When all the theories were being kicked around I kept thinking that most of them were way over the brain power that this guy had working for him. I don't think he moved her without a...

If they thought mom's car was used, would it be held for evidence? I remember them processing the car at the house looking for evidence, but I don't think the police ever took custody of that vehicle. Maybe I am barking up the wrong tree with my thinking - as I said, I am super new to watching...

I keep a tab open on my browser to this page. I have never followed a crime like this before, but every day I check for updates and every day I am saddened by the lack of updates on this. Have the police given up the idea of him having had help to move Alana? It just all seems so very quiet.

I remember the police going through mom's car, but I thought that they didn't impound it. If they thought that it was used as transport (ugh, so sorry) wouldn't they have held on to it as evidence? Am I wrong that she kept possession of her car?

I can't believe that there is nothing... no news... no talk of the additional folks that might have been involved... nothing.

I doubt that there is a case for eminent domain in this instance.

Saginaw is an incorporated city with over 20,000 people living there. There is an office of zoning and planning. I have a number of friends who live there and in all of their cases they are subject not only to the city zoning, but also the HOA zoning of their respective sub divisions. I don't...

"Pretty warm" :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh: My AC went out 2 days ago for 4 hours. :scared::scared::scared I was highly motivated to get that thing back up and running! I do think the psych units and medical areas have AC. Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't end up in there at least...

I knew someone here would beat me to the WFAA link. I really expected him to look worse from the gunshot. Also kinda wondered where that black eye came from.

I wonder about that too! Any attention is better than no attention. Plus, let's be honest, it doesn't look like this kid has really had his feet held to the fire about anything. Doesn't look like there has been much in the line of consequences. Drop out of school? No problem. Do drugs? No...
