I think there is probably some grey area there. Most children who have protective parents probably still find value in being alive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Found Deceased IN - Abigail Williams, 13, & Liberty German, 14, Delphi, 13 Feb 2017 - #34

The context was LE stating reasons why they were searching RL's house. The implication (though using a passive voice) was that he said things "that were not true." It wasn't confusing to me in context. That said, there is no way for any of us to know exactly what LE was talking about and not...

Correct, but LE was saying he didn't speak the truth as a reason they were looking closer at him. Seems that if he were just mistaken or not deliberately saying something incorrect it wouldn't have raised a red flag for them, no? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

LE also said, "Things were said that were not true." That seems to be another way of saying he lied about things. That doesn't seem so great that a guy in his position would be lying. (Or saying things that were not true, to be exact.) Edit:Sorry, posted this at the same time someone else made...

I am trying to catch up fast. Sorry to ask, but can someone tell me what RL lied about. I missed it! TY! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Definitely. Shoe prints are always looked for! Not kooky in the slightest. Standard procedure! Remember OJ and his Bruno Magli shoes? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank goodness the parents weren't clever enough to remove her from the scene before they declared her missing. And thank god LE was great. It doesn't always go like that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can you imagine someone trying to build reasonable decision-making into the decision that John Robert Charlton made in going home with his date (a date lots of people knew about) and then dismembering her in her tub? Since when do criminals use reasonable sense? Murdering in general is not using...

LE has said DS is the victim of a crime. People are allowed to speculate how a perp (the question was hypothesizing that the perp was the SG) might have taken over the victim (which very possibly happened at some point). That speculation is allowed, even if you personally think it's misguided...

You are the one who asked posters on this thread a question that could only be answered with speculation and theory. Why might he have taken her to his home? Perhaps noting that a particular question you ask is rhetorical (and that you think it would be misguided to answer) would be helpful...

They could only prove aggravated kidnapping without a body I guess? Even with all that evidence! I wonder if they delayed in pressing charges in hopes they would find her remains and get him for murder. How terrible for her family. At least is behind bars for decades, regardless of the charge...

Why not? Is a public place a more reasonable place than a private home for whatever the person responsible either planned (or happened in the moment)? I think it's impossible for us to know, because we don't even know what happened where, let alone the sequence, the context etc. Sent from my...

For one, you would have to request one and there is no evidence at this point that one was requested. In order to arrest someone you, have to have specific charges and enough evidence at that time to convict in court beyond a reasonable doubt. That is different than looking for evidence based on...
